There were over 100 that registered for spring league but the most that turned up at a race was just over 70 SV

and i'm only here for 4 races... so I'm not riding summer league its ridiculous to pay all up front. i wonder how many peeps will ride league this summer in SV? Got my number today and so far there this morning there were 69 SV, and i know a few teams haven't even entered yet.There will be more than 100 SV i would say.

What lights are you using for mtbing?I know there have been many threads but i am too lazy to look.What have you used,are currently using,are you happy,how much did you pay?NOT looking to start a thread about wo knows the most about lights etc.Just give me your first hand experience.

What spokes are been used on Tokens wheels?Find many manufacturers save by using cheap crap spokes.

I see you based in WC even more so XT.Have a huge problem of spokes,nipples,rim binding with the mavic wheels here at the sea making it difficult to true. stringbean2008-12-23 23:34:11

XT no question is better.I think Mavic make crap wheels,this is based on how many come in for repairs at my lbs.Along with a distributor that hasn't got any spares i would stick with shimano.DT make good wheels but expensive.Like thier hubs,virtually bombproof.Just go to your LBS and ask them which wheel they work on the most

Toffee... if I get original proof of purchase with second hand bike, I get warranty too... Don't count on it.most bike shops remember and have records of who they sold bikes to and who the original owner is.

While on the subject when last did you check what the warranty on your frame was.I say this because in the last year a lot of companies have dropped the lifetime warranty and not told the buyer.Was shocked to hear a company like Pinarello(BIG BUCKS FOR BIKE)has only a 2 year warranty.Cannondale,Spez and Giant are one of the few who still give lifetime.

Imagine if they did pay postage on all warranties only to find the bike had been in a crash or you the second owner or bike is out of warranty.Just covering themselves i think.

Why didn't you go through the shop you bought the bike from?

Standard practice boet.They want to make sure it's their fault and not yours.They want to make sure you were not in a crash etc.Material and location means nothing to a warranty.If i hit my chainstay hard enough with a hammer it will break at the weld.Standard practice anyway,you pay for frame to get to them,they pay for new one to get to you.
