I think the same RE my Harley ..... except people often stop and tell me she is a good looking bike Last comment was this week where a guy in a Ford Ranger came past while I was waiting to turn right, hooted, pointed to the bike and gave the thumbsup ... granted this persons taste is surely under question as he is driving a Ford Ranger, but let us just assume that he has been forced to ride that while his real car is in for a service.

I swung around here on Saturday looking for a set of mirrors. They took me for a tour of their workshop, some flipping awesome builds in the lift (Think carbon wheels, custom parts, etc). This workshop is visible from the entrance ... then they took me around the corner. What's around the corner you ask, well it is a candy store of machines. Lathes, English Wheels (Yes they custom form fenders and body work "stuff") AND a flipping massive CNC machine that spits out custom tripple trees (Like custom ones they showed being fitted on a Triumph with new Ohlin's USD suspension) light mounts, risers, etc. What an awesome company doing some high end work on bikes. Left really impressed.

I have not washed my bikes in a while as I have been a lazy b@st@rd and have not been cycling, and spending my free time on the bike with an engine fitted to it. Only if the bike is caked in my would I do a full bike wash after a ride. A standard ride might see me clean off the chain and lube it again, with a quick wipe down of the suspensions exposed moving parts ... if it is a dusty ride, the bike may be graced with a hose down. Then on the odd occasion I would give the bikes a wash, all of them at once as it is more efficient RE time.

sounds to me like you do not have kids in the house with all that free time to spend an hour to wash a bike AFTER you have been out for a ride too
