  1. Ok that is awesome ... is it one of our subs that is actually working?
  2. Thanks man, I will take just getting sorted properly vs sorted cheaply and potentially more issues. Been toying with selling the HD, buying a slightly older Tenere and then take the extra cash, and save up for another HD in the future.
  3. My girl is back in hospital AGAIN. This time it looks to be the starter clutch that died on me, and I still need to place an order with Harley too for a new speedometer as I can not find a second hand one anywhere in SA. My patience is wearing very thin on this bike now, and clearly the great deal I was picking up on a older 2008 bike with only 20K on the clock was not all it was meant to be as told on the showroom floor. The amount of repairs and maintance items I have made good on the bike is in my mind a complete joke....but she is in far better condition now than when I bought her ... just wish I knew this when I made the purchase. I love riding her, so this has now turned into a love / hate relationship for me. The past two weeks I have started passively looking at other bike options again.

  8. Two weeks ago I picked up a XS helmet for my youngest so that he can join me on the bike. We went out for a ride later that day, and life was good. Then this last week my youngest me have been butting heads .... so today the weather in CT was awesome, cold but awesome. Got him on the back of the bike, and slipped out from work for a quick ride to the beach and an impromptu milkshake at the Blue Peter. The smiles say it all, and we are friends again
  9. Amazing how dirty a bike can get from riding in the rain, on back roads, through flooded roads, etc .... bet you this Harley has been dirtier than many a shinny BMW GS with 2000km on the clock following 5 years of ownership
  10. Not the best pic, but the most scenic parts of Boyes Drive this morning I could not get myself to pull over for a pic. .... traffic was basically non existent, the weather cool, no wind and the most phenomenal fog over the water to the mountains in the back ground. This pic was taken a little later after my meeting in Kalkbay Sneak peak from one of the tech site pics taken
  11. now that I like

  16. It means the staff can wrap up and leave the office at 4pm sharp. Edit: I think you get what I am saying
  17. Interesting and not what I was thinking when posting the popcorn comment. https://www.popcornforthepeople.com/blogs/blog/the-history-of-popcorn#:~:text=The History of Popcorn in the Americas&text=Since popcorn comes from corn, was found in New Mexico. So why did then not bring a little Vodka, Saki or Baijiu with them when they came over
  18. Did you have to leave camp to get "fire wood" for that braai
  19. was it not the native indians in the states that "discovered" popcorn?
  20. If we use our microwave twice a month in home that would be a lot. A way to keep food cold would make sense if you are out in the sticks for a while.
  21. No man ... AC for your tent ....
  22. Judging by the look of the grips, the Cuzzie at least looks to ride his bike a lot.
