  4. 40 learners at the Ocean View High School near Kommetjie received bicycles provided by the Pedal Power Association (PPA), Bicycling Empowerment Network (BEN) and Qhubeka.   6. Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka were on song during stage 1 of the Abu Dhabi Tour as a perfect leadout from the African Team delivered Mark Cavendish to victory. The minor podium placings went to Andre Greipel (Lotto-Soudal) and Niccolo Bonifazio (Bahrain-Merida) respectively.   9. It was a small group sprint that decided stage 2 of the Tour de Langkawi and Travis McCabe (United Healthcare) came out on top. Fillipo Pozzato (Willier) was 2nd and our young South African sprinter, Ryan Gibbons placed 3rd. Gibbons also moved into the overall race lead thanks to the time bonuses won yesterday and today. Spectators came from all over the province to support their friends and family on the day, and race organizers could not have asked for better weather conditions with temperatures reaching 30 degrees but a constant breeze throughout the day to keep the riders cool on the course.
