To all mtb-ers the the lucky ones entered LOTCR and the ones entering next year... check out hogsback winter wonderland . Think we should plan a snow stage !! The snow a week ago was not kind to our trails and new single tracks . But we will be out there clearing all the broken wattle trees that could not stand up to the heavy snowfall. Hogsback is certainly worth a visit winter or summer [ mtb and hiking heaven]

i was there , bury crashed in front of me.... 1. that rockgarden was gnarly , if you got slightly off line you went down like many of the other elite racers not shown on tv. 2. nino took the right side line over a big rock giving the fastest and smoothest line down the bottom section. absalon went left [ slower and bumpy] 3. bury took centre line on last lap hitting a boulder sending him over the bars.....anybody would have gone down. not everybody would have bounced back. well done bury , now start racing your 26er again and kick ass. cm

get a 26 inch hardtail. 29er selling at a premium and at R10000 you going to buy a ship. more inportant of the top 10 xc racers at pmb worldcup only burry was riding 29 er. [think nino was on 27.5] makes you think..... 29 er good for marathon tipe riding . get a good 26er from somebody following the 29er hipe. cm

rode up in the clouds last weekend. rode up in hoggsback towards katberg side, early morning only hoggsback and high peaks in sunlight. the valleys below a carpet off cloud all the way down to the coast. i find something new every time i go to hoggsback, riding endless and natural beauty pedalling PROZAK.
