    This is a seriously FUN ride ... our 7 beer challenge ended up way past 10 and with Bolt and Nut's gin bar and Fyords last water point having plenty of Emeraldvale on tap ... dehydration was never gonna be a problem ... thanks to all involved .

    3 days PDS riding was great , took Duane's advice Châtel to morzine today .great but morzine side so much more traffic .... LOTS of guys riding . Morzine cooking .. By chance bumped into Mr Min in morzine doing final testing for Val di sole... We on our way there for some riding and to support our man.

    So arrived in Châtel today ... got camper parked at lovely camping spot , wife comfortable . Then hit the trails / bike park at Châtel at 12 till 4.30 . Bust my deraileur on last run ... luckily Boer maak n plan , so sorted again for tomorrow . Rained quite hard late afternoon so trails will be challenging. Happy days..

    So planning our route to italy from france , time on route limited 3 days stop over in PDS . Seems on map chatel on route I wanna take towards como area on route to val di sole . Seems chatel more than enough riding , so think morzine area if I have more time in future .

    Are you planning to ride in the vercors area near grenoble ? Done that on road bike ,but apparently some good offroad riding as well. Beautiful area and close to our spot in the Ardeche.

    Thanks , done a lot of france on roadbike , transalp 2006 and les2alps and trails in Ardeche Rhone Alpes ... yip im comfy with blue and light red . Keep a giant trance sx over in france ... decision. Go east or west from massive central.

    When and where are you guys going ?? Im over in france from 10/8 for some work for a week. Was thinking of either andorra and pyrenees or french alps,Italy last world cup val de sole and maybe eurobike for the last 3 weeks . Me and wife(assistant driver)in our camper road and trail bike.

    Nope trail between Nahoon dam and hillview ... only problem totally overgrown ... we used to ride it years ago ... pity ....nice dropper post steep.

    Hi a tip ... I got a giant side loading bottle cage and 500 ml botles from mumbos plastic world ... perfect fit and secure on downhill

    Ive got a L carbon , im 1.86 and happy . Could probably ride xl , but tested al large and loved it . Very responsive and the big wheels inspire confidence .... get it you wont be sorry .

    Hi Bonus , comming over in August to france .... wanting to ride pyrenees this year . Thinking Andora then over to spanish side . Sounds like one needs a guide in pyrenees as trails not that well marked and English not that widely spoken. Any thoughts .... enduro type riding.
