Hi Hubbers, I ride a 2013 Giant Anthem X1 alloy) with quite a few upgrades namely brakes and wheelset. Been offered a good deal on a Camber Comp Carbon 2014 and will give my bike to wifey. Questions I ride Tokai 3-4 times a week and 4 stage rides/races a year I enjoy both singletrack and XC Is it better than my Giant ?? What's the reliability on the Camber like? The Camber is new for R29K

Geaxx Segaro , I had Maxxis Ikon which are good but Geaxx are bulletproof and last forever

this is normal as piston is coated each time in a small layer of oil enjoy the bike I have one and they are great quick on the climbs and trails

I have the Anthem X1 and my mate has the Scott Spark, from my point of view the Anthem kills the Scott on single track and trails its also a good climber the bike not me. Just an observation from me you see quite a lot of Scotts for sale but Giants seem to be kept a lot longer and hold value a little better. I must say I have changed the brakes to XT and wheel set to ZTR with Hope Hubs also replaced the chain rings and rear cas to XT. I am very happy

+1 I broke off my right hand XT (Big Off) at the moment running XT (L) and SLX ® no real difference and brakes just work had Avids took them off and sold them for R500. Stock on XT is hard to find and they cost about R1K more also if you can run Ice Tec rotors

Dear Shimano, how can you not have any stock in CPT for the next 2-3 weeks not sure about the rest of SA but not a single LBS in CPT has spare or any XT brakes. This is poor considering its one of the most popular brakes lots of people support your brand not sure who you local agent is?? being supportive of its consumers being us Hubbers and customers being our LBS. get stock in and keep some buffer stock Wepat

Hi Hubbers, managed to knock of my 2014 XT right brake lever ( A Big Off), I have the lever and a pin can this be easily replaced or repaired by my LBS? Or do I need to buy a new right side lever/brake. Thanks Wepat

I know this bike shop they are legit and based in Diep River CPT, they import large amounts of bikes but mainly Specialized, I was actually there yesterday and going today. They move a lot of Scott and giant products as well and always willing to discount prices.
