  10. Thanks for all the coments so far. I had the burning problem back then too.But now the same as before, its more in my right foot than my left.I got a feeling my shoes my be too tight.I did however cut both the elastic straps inside my shoes and that helped a small bit but not much! Then on the cleat side, the axel is between my big toe and the ball of my foot. But i cant seem to get i further back.Unless im doing something wrong.Plus my foot is only burning on the side.
  11. I will give that a try.Can you guys maybe recomend anybody that you,ve had positive results with?
  12. Anybody?
  13. Hey guys. Today i finally started cycling after 2 yrs of the bike. Now.... after 5km my feet burned like hell! Can it be just that my feet are not use to cycling or can it be that my cleat position is wrong? Any advice or links to see if my cleats are correct will be much apprechiated. Regards Evo-R

  16. IMO most expensive is not always the best!! I went for a bike fit at one of our LBS.After i went to all the others first and asked all the shops the same questions eg. what is needed, how they do it and after service. Eventually i decided to give them a try.I know its a small family owned shop and worst case would be is i lose R200 and they loose a client for life. It took them 3hrs to do my fit.First was a 45 min discusion of potential problems and how it can be fixed. They started with measuring my leg inseem and foot angels.(each one separate) Then my arm length ect. Then they started the adjustments first on my cleats.Aparently i was padaling on my toes instead of the ball of my feet. Then my bike was fitted to a trainer and i started cycling. Then my saddel was adjusted.then my handel bars and STI,s. Then they plaked little orange stickers on my shoes, knees and legs and hips and placed 2 redlaser lights on the flour to see that when i was padaling that everything was in line and perfect. Every time something was adjusted they would double check that everything else was still 100% or would adjust it accordingly. After all was done and i did +- 20km on the trainer they were happy. Before my feet burned on the sides hecticly after 10 kays, solution=different degree wedges under my shoes according to each of my feet. Before my hands went numb after say 30+ kays.Solution=my stem was 110mm and they said i needed a 60mm stem. They gave me a 60mm stem to ride for a week with and give them feedback the next week.Next week came and everything was beter except i statred getting a little back pain,so they swichted 60mm for a 80mm.Another week later of riding i went back to tell them of the improvements and to return the stems they loaned me. In short,Bike fit= R200,New stem=R170 and the wedges were part of the package. In total R370-00 And everytime i walk in their shop they would ask me if all is well and that if im still happy? Hows that for service!!!!!
  17. Anybody that does not greet is a sour old prune with no manners!! (Normally the very old toppies and the young windgat wanabee hardcore dudes) I greet everbody from the runners and the slow people i pass to even the sour prunes who dont greet back. The only time i do not greet is when its not safe to do so.( going +- 70km/h downhill in a 70 zone with cars +- 40 cm away from you.Did it only twice....almost sh%t myself both times!!!) In short i will greet you because i have manners. If you dont greet back, its no skin of my nose.Evo-R2009-10-08 02:09:59

A friend of mine(part time hacker) who works for Standerd Bank Internet Banking Security told me that these are scams and the moment they have your acc details they start stealing a few cents or Rands every month. You likely wont notice it but take a few cents from thousands of acc and pretty soon your talking serios money!!! Think about it.Did you ever enter any foreighn lotteries or competions?? And if someone really ever won $2.8 mil do you really think they will just sms you.......
