  1. Sure will. I think i saw you today: i was driving home and saw the Lapiere by that man robot just past rietvlei. Were you wearing a white helmut? Looked like a POC.
  2. Had a beautiful ride at Thaba today. Did Yafta today again and didn't male the first uphill but only by a few pedal strokes...BUT...made everything else after that bit coasting inbetween sections to pick up my lung....really chuffed with that.
  3. You really did have a crap day..lol
  4. Talk about road kill...eish. Hope you not as broken as your bike
  5. A bad day on the bike is better than a good day anywhere -
  6. Nice. Hows does that Santa Cruz compare to the lappy?
  7. Nice. For now i have only added Yafta to my green route until i get my fitness up. Fitness=fun=blue
  8. Well we witnessed an OTB on one of them...lol
  9. Cool. Did you guys also ride through those large puddles? My feet were freezing after going through like 4 of em....lekker fun though.
  10. Yes, recall your bike also. Funny how we look at the bikes rather than the person...lol
  11. Sweet..there were a lot of peeps today. I was the dude with the awsome 26er ????...Black Merida
  12. Can never go wrong with a dropper amd once you have one you not be able to ride without it. I sometimes think I use mine more than I should as I use it all the time. Thaba is a great place to use a dropper.
  13. I rode there this morning and it qas awsome. I made some more sections of Yafta but had to stop in between to pick up my lung..hahaha. When i got to the new single track towards the end, there was this surreal calmess and quiet. I was the only rider at the time and it was beautiful, quite and just so lekker being me and my bike.
  14. Thats pretty cool. Are they special plugs?
  15. Wow, Trek sure are coming out with some beauties.
  16. David build my wheels for me and they are awsome. Double butted spokes, black brass nipples, novatec hubs and Dartmoor Raider rims. Can highly recommend David.
  17. I am sure there is something. Will google it and see what i can find as tape is not the best option but will do for now.
  18. There you have it folks, DIY stealth dropper post routing. Came out pretty good i think. True test will be on the trail to see that all holds together whe hurtling myself down the mountain.
  19. The one fuel line was quite worn and brittle so replaced that. Its a simple engine with no computers and has a carb. It doesn't happen too often but it does happen which means something is causing it.
