  1. Any incidents reported lately? Wanna go ride now but not too familiar with the trail. would it still be safe this time of year? or is it too quiet?
  2. Anybody else renewing or getting a permit anytime soon? Mine expired and would like to buy in a group. Please please.
  3. Have the same problem. Replace the strap multiple times and cost 400 every time. Other than that it's a good watch and for any issues TomTom replies in about a week which I think is good enough aftersale service for the price. I also like that it's not as bulky as the other watches so can be worn throughout the day
  4. Du toitskloof? Where is this awesome place? Doess it also have foresty trails like welvenpas?
  5. Looks like welvenpas. Is this the white route? Is it open?
  6. Did you use a carboard box? 150cm(total dimension) is allowed free. is not alot for a bike especiay a mtb. When i called emirates office they said if its over thar dimension its extra luggage and would be carged something like 350$ (to and from) extra if it was over this size. Rindoculous!at the time zuma was safe so the dollar was like 15 rand
  7. Cool. A new place ???? Never heard of this place. Hows the single track? Googled the place now and read that its 80% jeep track and only 20 single. Is that correct? Safe to ride alone? Techical?
  8. The dimensions that emirates allows for bikes are so damn small that it get charged as oversize. Then you get charged crazy.
  9. Sounds realy cool. I is also looming at riding somewhere different. Can you maybe pm me info like where to stay and how to get to the bike park and uhmmm ball park cost of trip
  10. Where is this? Paul cluver? Welvenpas black?
  11. Cool pics. I take the hermanus trails are safe to ride solo again? Hows the signage?
  12. Kinda related so ima ask this too. So there was 1*10 now 1*11 and 1*12 is the new upgrade. More gears at back. Nice. More gears right. So Why did they then take away the front chainrings? Why not leave it at 2* or 3*? And its just more expensive to upgrade. Its killing my brain. Someone tell me wheres the advantage please
  13. To get to neverending is a bit of a lungbuster but not for long. Getting to Firehut is lekker gradual and doing firehut trail is orgasmic(i like flowy trails). Dont miss the opportunity since you will be staying close by.
  14. Jonkershoek neverending and firehut has mooi switchbacks. Some tight, some wide, some a bit rocky, some descending but not difficult. Jist perfect and probably the most beautiful location.
  15. Thanks. That helps alot.
  16. Yster man. But who do i take the bike to, to have it pavked and transported?
  17. Your trails look super awesome but if you wanna have an orgasm on a bike, you gotta make a plan to come to south africa
  18. Cant seem to find an answer for this. If i stay in dbn, will there be transport for my bike and i to the start point in pmb? Also can anyone recommend affordable good accomodation in durbs pls. Maybe 3k for four nights. Or a self catering resort for a family of 5 adults.
  19. Again, love the video and thanks for the info about the chest strap. Got it today.
  20. Would be cool if there was group ride anytime. Anyone know of rides happening here? Id love to ride it but i ride alone so might get lost.
