  1. Simple rules to follow.. 5l = Races that are supported along the way (ie: Cape Town Ultra - tons of water points, will carry the bare necessities, less food, min. liquids) 12l = Races that have minimal or no support (ie: Mnweni - completely on your own, need to carry thermals, all food etc)
  2. If you can still find them, then grab a pair of First Ascent Magnitude Shorts. Best in the business. Otherwise grab their new X-Trail tights. http://www.firstascent.co.za/shop/mens-x-trail-short-tights/
  3. 1x broken derailer here Well worth it! Epic race, mud was crazy
  4. Cathedral Peak, bit misty
  5. 45% duties on clothing. Always work on a total of around 67% of total commercial value (as VAT is never just 14%... Need to factor in other charges). The clearing / disbursement fee most likely bumped the total charge up. What was the initial shipping charge? A few courier companies will advertise a lower shipping charge but will nail you when the goods have landed / cleared.
  6. They were running updates today. May need a few resets before things are back up properly.
  7. Just picked up the 661 Repeater from Dial'd. Light and comfortable! Would be a real contender in this lineup.
  8. Just got the Ambit 2 S (incl. HR) off Cleaver Training. $249 for the watch, $40 express shipping. Wrist watches are duty free so only 14% VAT. Should come to around R3850. Kalahari is the closest as they selling the graphite unit for R4500. Took it over the Ambit 2 as I really don't need the few extra features. Compare : http://www.suunto.com/sports-watch-collections/Suunto-Ambit-Collection/ Some other great specials on at Cleaver Training. http://www.clevertraining.com/c-146-gps-watches.aspx
