It’s been a while since posting here. Been on a sabbatical from riding.. I’ve been looking for one of these for a while now. I know the suspension has its flaws, but man I think it’s 🔥🔥. Came across this on marketplace and couldn’t resist. Custom paint job.

Hardtails definitely aren’t dead, just gotta know where to find them. A few weeks ago I picked up a Commencal meta am. 29er, eagle 12spd, 150mm lyric up front, and beast of all - 65 degree head angle. I’ve spent some time on this bike now and man, no regrets selling the road bike. Happily Cruz along sealed surfaces and get to explore any trails I find along the way. On the trails it’s a roudy barrel of fun! Just as capable as my full sus, just not as forgiving. The meta has quickly become my go to bike for a quick ride after work etc.. best part of all, after riding the meta for a couple weeks, I jumped back on my Hightower and it felt like dream. Hardtails Are ALIVE

New shock for the Ht! Awsome upgrade from the Monarch Rt3 . First ride felt really good, haven’t even set it up properly yet ! Dvo is really on another level ! Packaging not to bad either , felt like I had just purchased something dangerous!

Soon as I get a vehicle ( yes I replaced my bikes before buying a car haha) I’ll go in search of the trails . But I’ve been riding the roadie around exploring. What an amazing city for cycling !!! Cycle lanes where ever you wanna go. Amazing rides through the parks and city! No looking back that’s for sure

So I’ve been away for a while , relocating to greener pastures, with that 2 new steeds . One to fight the streets and one for the mountains...

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I'll give it a shot. I'm looking for an old vintage bike , like a single speed computer , doesn't even need to be functional. The Mrs and I are tying the knot in May and it would be rad to have old skadonk for some cool photo opportunities. If you have anything lying in the shed , barn or field out back drop me a pm. I don't have much to pay but willing to trade parts, services or beer I'm based in Kzn if that helps

I hope you don't get nailed to hard with import duties , I bought one couple years back that was on special and all in ended up costing 100bucks more than the local price
