  1. The bike dealership close to our offices have a MT-07 on the floor. Man that looks like fun to ride. But at 80 000 secondhand, its a bit rough for me.
  2. Get the 650 gs.
  3. maybe the sms was send with a zero missing
  4. I think I have a word "soulless" Yes it is a bike and does not have a soul, but i think it is a good description. I should really pay more attention in traffic, and stop thinking of this crap and just ride the bike.
  5. I think Steven has the best summary. predictable and safe but bleh.... there is nothing special about it.
  6. Sorry guys took a while to type and comments came in between. I am refering to the biker dude who assisted in the smash and grab.
  7. strange that he is not accused of being racist
  8. I think it is called the x factor because no one knows what it is. The GS is very very predictable. It is really difficult to explain. You can go fast and you can go slow. The single 650 have so much torque that you can do anything from 40 to 160 in 5th gear. Its a bike that can do everything. I like the reliability of it, and it is so easy to fix. The single also have plenty of vibrations. Back to the x factor, i think it is different for everyone. A GS is a very common bike. If you meet a new biker and they hear that you have a gs, you can see the disappointment in their eyes. On a more serious note, I took my little bros z800 for a spin the other day, that inline 4, sho, just starting it gives your heart a bounce. and then the fun factor, you have to work the bike. The GS is like i said, easy and predictable, and only needs you to stay upright. You need to work the z. You can not just lean at a round about, you have to pull the bike down with you, otherwise it just goes straight. the 7000 redline, is also kind of a let down. But some people like it some don't. Also for me, every time i am on the N1 doing the legal 120, i can not help but to think I am using the wrong tool for the job. Its like doing the tour de france on a MTB....
  9. I used to ride a motomia 250. got bullied a lot, and cars wont let you pass and and and we know the story. Bought a GS 650 Dakar. Nice bike, very stable, predictable and easy to ride. Lots of presence on the road, and cars actually sees you. very very silent with the original pipes. Good fuel consumption (24-26 km/l) The only thing for me, its getting a bit boring. there is no x-factor that gets me excited to go and ride. Would I recommend it as a first bike? If your feet can reach the ground, most definitely.
  10. I like easy and medium games.
  11. hahahahaha o the memories... laning with the old school cables, with the round connectors. I made the mistake once of saving at level 10 or something while dying. Could not retrieve the character. Every time i launched the saved game, I ended up dying.
  12. after many many many years of waiting, I bought Diablo 3. I was so disappointed that i dont have any words. I would run into a group fight and just hold down my primary attack button and everyone will die while my health jumps around. I had massive amounts of life steal gear..... But all in all it felt to me that Diablo 2 was a much better game.
  13. Forget all of this and get lemmings 3D!!
  14. I saw a very nice GSX-F 650 suzi yesterday that is for sale..... And it is more or less the same value as my stofdonkie. Does anyone have one? Apparently it is very nice for commuting and can do 1-100 under 4 seconds. Top speed 230. Also comfortable enough to day day trips on....
  15. everyone says that. I understand that one must look out for himself, but how do you make it happen????

  19. My brother does about 6000 km on his rear on his z800 in Hooligan mode. I bought my bike used and did 10 000 km on that tyre this far.
  20. What do you call that black spray on rubber that you put on your wheels to protect it? the one that you can peel off at a later stage?
