I did the Joburg City as well and it was my first ever triathlon. I got a lot to learn still. I lost my iPhone and car keys at the event and asked anyone and everyone if they had found them. After the event was done, I got a call from the organisers saying that one of their staff members was packing up and handed all my stuff in. A BIG THANK YOU to the guy (who got a reward too) and to the organisers too. Nice event and had fun.

I think it is not as bad as it seems. How many of us still support our LBS regardless? I buy stuff off CRC and from my LBS so do all my mates. Yes we are all after a bargain but we all need something urgently and where do we find it???? There are guys on the Hub too, that import frames and parts that are way cheaper than the local shops and we all want to support the guy trying to make bit of money. So go for a ride to clear your mind of all this nonsense and just Chill out.

I heard that the people in PE were not properly informed about the race and there was a huge traffic problem as a result. Apparently only 4 women finished the race and the vets did not ride.

Now I see this post. Been doing Cradle Quest and carrying lube with all day and using it at all the water points. Pitty tomorrow is the last day.

Two bikes were stolen in the early hours this morning. Fuji Team Pro road bike, silver in colour with a Club 100 sticker and my name Gary on the bike. The other is a Merida X Mission 900, black and blue with a Polar heart rate monitor on it. If anyone sees these bikes please let me know via the hub. Thanks
