  1. So far so good, it tends to land cleat side up 9/10 times so you don't really need to look down or fumble much. It does take a bit more of a twist to get your foot out due to the bigger platform. I've generally ridden flats (nukeproofs with FiveTens) for trail riding but have recently converted to clipless, these pedals appeal to me as I like the idea of being able to throw my flat shoes on for a particularly technical trail that I haven't ridden before (or for a quick ride around the block/to the shops). At 520 odd grams they are also not my first choice for marathon/stage races. All of that being said, they look f**king cool, and everyone knows that by far the most important attribute
  2. My baby with some new pedals, catching a tan after a sneaky lunch time ride (Funn Mamba one-side cleats/flats).
  3. All cleaned up after an awesome first ride! This bike is absolutely amazing, had one of the best mornings I can remember on the Spruit! Plan on sneaking off to PWC Cycle Park later today to get some more time in. Will give my (very unqualified) thoughts on the differences to the Trance after a few more rides, but it feels like a different animal completely. Yes Please!!!
  4. Some help on the dropper post please: what length should I be getting for a Large frame, it (reverb) comes in 355, 380 or 420? Also, I have heard mounting a right hand lever upside down on the left of the bar is better than a left hand bar mount?
  5. My new baby finally "finished" - unfortunately my reverb stealth dropper doesn't fit the frame but she's getting fitted with a new dropper post tomorrow. Now just need to find some Dormicum to make it through the night cause I doubt I'll be able to sleep!
  6. Any idea what the coverage on SS is going to be like? I hope more than just the one hour highlights package.
  7. Have the chain and some ODI rogues. Just need to find a CC headset, any idea where I can get one locally?
  8. Agree with you, got sram setup on my fatboy and find it's smoother. Figure I'll upgrade to X01 or similar on Pyga when parts need replacing...
  9. Hi guys, my 120 650B Frame arrives tomorrow (happy dance). My current setup on my trance which is being moved across is listed below - please let me know if you think this is a good setup for the ONETWENTY and if there any parts I'm forgetting about which I'll need to complete the build (or should consider upgrading): Rockshox Rev RCT3 140mm Arch ex on hopes (WTB trail boss 2.4/wolverine 2.2) Boobar 780mm Easton Haven 55m Stem Reverb Stealth dropper WTB Volt Saddle XT 1x10 Drivetrain, Shifters, Crankset SLX Shadow+ rear Derailleur SLX Brakes (xt rotors 200mm front 180mm back)
  10. I'm looking at the 120 and the pascoe, mostly for aggressive trail riding and the odd enduro event. Any advice on which way to go? I have a revelation 140mm fork so the 120 would be a cheaper option than the pascoe+pike...
