Most races have number collection on race day except if you are lic, but that's not my fight so perhaps the lic guys need to take this up with CSA and the orgs as I'm certainly not going to boycott a race because the lic riders who make up a small % of entries cant pick up their numbers on race day.

Good first half but easy win for the Chief's

Game is slipping away from the Cheetahs.

As a Lions supporter I'm happy to be proven wrong but I think the Stormers have got this one in the bag. Fleck has done a very good job of moulding them as a team and a number of their players are really shining.

Really enjoy it, best series on at the moment.

Doing the Carnival MTB short and road long, will be a good training ride for the 947, plus its right on my doorstep.

Want to do as little road races as possible and all close proximity, Emperors, R4V around Sept then Carnival (although this one does not count for this years 947) and I should be good to go.

It is expensive but I need to do some seeding races, last one I did was 947 in 2015 and I don't want to start this years 947 way back. Another plus is that its quite close so I can cycle to the start and back after.

Explained quite well here, taller does not always mean longer and vice versa.

Cyclelab Boksburg did the MTB route on Sat, speaking to some of the guys that rode it the trail is looking good so now hopefully the rain stays away.

This was the first real tough team the Stormers faced, good win against a NZ side who had not lost previously but that's how you get to the playoff rounds, win your home games and a few away.

Doing the road race which will be my first 100k road race since 2015 947.

Nice bit of tar section in the beginning to let the race snakes get ahead, then plenty single track through forest section and some wide dirt roads. There is a drop off which can be quite tricky especially if wet, if unsure rather get off and push.

Lions Well played Sharks, hard to believe that they struggled against the Kings few weeks back, pushed the Lions the whole way this match.

The lady from Husky said it's better in the long run that they be split up, I know the St Bernard has a home, PE i think.
