I would also suggest gators, i have also used maxis but found the gators easier to fit and remove, i never use tyre levers to fit as i have strong hands but you do get tyre levers which clip onto the quick release and extend to the rim which you can remove and fit the tyre.

Courageous and brave comments, of course there's no telling what his reaction is going to be, surprising him by macing him the 1st time will work, 2nd time he will be much angrier and expect it. True he is unlikely to confront you if you are not alone, but the next time you might be.

I'd say report it to the police, they might not do antyhing the 1st time but if any future harm comes to either you or your dog there is a record of it.

The ones from mallot jaune seem stronger than the standard ones that come with the garmin, i bought and fitted them to my bikes last year and had none broken yet.

MTB'er racers are not imune and some will screech to make way for them on single track. If the rider requests firmly and clearly i will make way for them but screaming at me has the opposite effect on me and i'll ride slower.
