  1. My Dualie With me on it
  2. Thats what i did, i took the unit in last year for the problem of switching off and Avnic claimed not to be aware of the problem but said a firmware upgrade will sort iot out but it still continued to switch off intimittently so i used it as an expensive indoor trainer unit but lately it been getting worse, the unit even switched off while the technician was looking at it. Avic were meant to get back to me last week but have not. As you state a brick wall is a a brick wall and all depends who you speak to there.

    Route 42

Race still scheduled Sunday 4 April entries not open yet
  4. Well done all involved.
  5. Thats quite a serious accusation, particulary in light of the price fixing allegations previously My main LBS seems to be doing OK, every time i go in there they have new stock and line from entry level to top .
  6. On their way to a baseball game
  7. Banks often get the stick for debit orders going through, banks receive millions of debit order transactions a day and cannot decline a debit order unless its stopped by the client and then this can only be done if the amount is known, companies get clever and put through diff amount which will then bypass the stop. The difficulty is getting the companies to stop putting them through.
  8. QUOTE=Justin]I did last year's race, and it was also mud to the hubs. So, I don't think we can blame the "current" weather. I think the race is on a vlei which will always be muddy. .. I think we can, i have done the route a few times when dry and its not bad. As for the course design i'm sure Lee and co would welcome input on how to make use of what land they have at their disposal, but perhaps its a no win and they should not hold it next year.
  9. Works for me, never broken a bone.
  10. The ABSA one is weak, implied threat that if you dont comply they will suspend your account, what a croc.
  11. To be shared if you are selected for the Olympics!!! Very sharp
  12. Do you want to kick it or kiss it think he's been drinking? Phew thought i had. Have you checked with the orgs maybe someone handed them in, its what i would have done.
  13. Do you want to kick it or kiss it
  14. You can also try Garmin connect. http://connect.garmin.com/
  15. It would add a bit more distance, but there are alternate routes through the industrial area to avoid North Rand road.
  16. Happymartin you manned the busiest road on the East Rand, tempers were bound to flare as it would be impossible to keep both motorsts and cyclists happy. Well done to you and all the other marshals.
  17. Still no results
  18. I think the orgs did the best they could, at the start they mentioned the orgs worked till late and the area where the potholes were is not the best place to work, they also ran out of road filler. North Rand was always going to be a challenge to regulate traffic, its the busiest road in Boksburg.
  19. I would say it is worth it, but perhaps before committing do a web search on garmin vs polar or other units to see the pros and cons from both sides.
  20. I would be upset as well if i experienced what you did, taken this up with store manager and failing that whoever the owners are. Have you encountered a retailer that has 100% CSI, if so i would be intrigued to know. Perhaps we can name them and promote them on the Hub Fail to see the connection regards hijacking, incidents at races etc.
  21. Always wonder about these posts and their intention, most of the complaints seem frivolous. A while back there was a whole thread slamming cycle lab because the hubber was not helped immediately he walked into their shop.
