  1. My neighbors are huge Bulls fan, whenever they play they fly the Bulls flag, If they win there's usually a huge celebration going on till late. To irritate him whenever they lose I go into the garden and blow my vuvuzella.
  2. Yes, plus bonus point
  3. Weekends game is going to be a cracker, Lions vs Sharks, both teams have had the harder draw in that they are paired with NZ teams whereas the others are playing Aus teams. Lions should get the victory playing at home but not discounting the Sharks especially after they demolished the Hurricanes who beat the Lions.
  4. Plenty of work to do. Ireland at its strongest playing in the 6 nations only manged 2 wins. A weaker Irish team come out and give us a real run for our money, dominating us and nearly winning the series.
  5. Not having possession means more tackles to be made, this can be very energy consuming.
  6. Tense finish, If not for Fafs try scoring tackle the Irish could have taken it. % possession is a huge concern.
  7. Cape Town - SANZAAR has announced that the first ever Rugby Championship Test will be staged in London this year. READ: Bonus point change for Rugby Championship This comes after SANZAAR on Thursday announced the match schedule and kick-off times for the Rugby Championship. It will for the first time include a match played at Twickenham Stadium on October 8 between Argentina and 2015 Championship winners Australia. This is a nominated home match for Argentina who will play their other home matches in Salta and Buenos Aires. The Twickenham match will be the final game of the Championship and could have a huge bearing on the outcome of the tournament. Argentina will be keen to reverse their loss to the Wallabies at the same venue in the 2015 Rugby World Cup semi-final. The Rugby Championship will be played across six weekends/rounds and will also for the first time include a match at Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit, South Africa. “SANZAAR is delighted to be playing in two new cities this year with Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit and Twickenham in London hosting Championship matches,” said SANZAAR CEO, Andy Marinos http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/rugby-championship-clash-in-london-20160623
  8. Ackerman is coach of SA "A" yes, but as mentioned by Lions players he has a different coaching style and this becomes evident in how the Lions play, what Ackerman cannot do on such a short space take a liquorice all sorts and make them Lions.
  9. Nuff said. Lions stars rescue Boks What a comeback! The Springboks were down and out, but a clutch of Lions substitutes inspired the home side to an incredible 32-26 victory over Ireland at Ellis Park on Saturday. http://www.iol.co.za/sport/rugby/springboks/lions-stars-rescue-boks-2036099
  10. Still work to be done but better 2nd half.
  11. Whitely you beut. Go Lions Springboks Jantjies appears to have left his kicking boots at home.
  12. Missed tackles, poor scrumming, poor line calling, errors and more errors.
  13. Cape Town - An Apartheid-era Springbok has called for a boycott of South African Rugby . Former Bok prop Ockie Oosthuize took to Facebook, asking “shareholders, players, rugby supporters, sponsors, etc.” to “withdraw their participation, attendance and involvement from the game”. http://www.iol.co.za/sport/rugby/springboks/its-time-to-boycott-sa-rugby-2034811
  14. On the contrary, only the ANC are demanding this and Afriforum is using this to challenge the sports ministry. Pretoria – More than 70% of black South Africans do not believe that sport teams should be picked based on transformation goals, but rather purely on merit. This is according to a 2016 national survey by the SA Institute of Race Relations, which asked South Africans for their opinion regarding merit-based selections of sports teams. A total of 77% of all South Africans were in favour of teams picked based on merit, without any use of racial quotas. Of the black people who took part in the survey, 74.2% agreed. For the rest of the population, 87% of coloureds, 94.9% of Asians, and 84.3% of whites were in favour of merit-based selection. The survey involved 2 245 people from all nine provinces, of whom 1 757 were black. http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/most-black-south-africans-oppose-sport-quotas-survey-20160531
  15. Lose, bright side the score could have been far worse if Ireland had a full compliment.
  16. Playing at home against a team that came 3rd in the six nations and were down.
  17. Boks making far too many mistakes.
  18. Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Well done Lions
  19. Last year there was not one Lions player in the core springbok team despite finishing 2nd in SA Superugby and CC champions without losing a game. Wonder if Coetzee follows same bias as Meyer and leaves the Lions out, good thing is it will give them fresh legs to continue their Super rugby pursuit.
  20. Good game Lions, kinda makes up for the Hurricanes game.
  21. Congrats to the Sharks, that's how to beat a NZ team.
  22. Is the Epic not also a race that bars dopers. Also are there any local road races that do similar or do the orgs think their races are clean.
  23. Tumbles, I'm next door.
  24. Perhaps they should look at the list of clients Johannesburg – East Rand police raided an illicit steroid den in Benoni on Wednesday, seizing hundreds of bottles of what is believed to be anabolic steroids. http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/steroid-den-shut-down-in-benoni-20160506
