  1. Very ride able with lights.
  2. If the AB's can stick to a game plan even in the rugby championship then the Boks are also capable, but when the game plan is aged/stale and has not evolved that's the issue.
  3. He was also known to ride with a saddle bag
  4. The man was a fashion icon, how many other cyclists started their own fashion trend which saw millions wear yellow bangles.
  5. Took part in the August.
  6. Happy birthday Lance
  7. Touched on religion as well.
  8. Lions and Sharks had their turn in 2016, now its the rest to play the NZ teams in 2017 http://www.sport24.co.za/Rugby/SuperRugby/schedule
  9. During the Haka, I noticed Faf giggling at the AB's, guess he's not giggling now. The AB's showed their superiority in the last minutes, after the full time siren went they had ball in hand and instead of kicking it out they played on, when SA got the ball they ended the game.
  10. 6 tries to 1, pathetic would be too kind. and i think the AB's had an off day.
  11. Then Ackerman needs to address this. They are 1 loss short in the CC of equaling the 4 losses in Superrugby and that included NZ teams in 15 games.
  12. Something wrong in the Lions camp, even with some players on springbok duty losing 50% of the games so far is just not acceptable and shows lack of depth.
  13. One can be a fan and a critic.
  14. Boks have played 8 times at Christchurch and last time they beat the AB's there was 1965, post isolation they have played and lost 4 times at Christchurch with the defeat in 2007 the largest (33-6). Nothing like a bit of pressure.
  15. I have somewhat a key interest in history and busy watching a docudrama series called Barbarians Rising on DSTV history channel dealing with the roman empire and the various rebel leaders such as Hannibal, Atiila, Sparticus who sought to halt them.
  16. Correct send all the Lions back so we can start wining all our CC games again.
  17. I sat through the whole game, kinda like the movie you cant stop watching in hope it gets better.
  18. For sure, here's 2 quotes Cape Town - New Springbok coach Allister Coetzee will not completely move away from the traditional style of play South Africans have grown accustomed to, but he does admit that the team must evolve in certain ways. South Africa coach Allister Coetzee begins his first Rugby Championship campaign on Saturday knowing the Springboks must master their old strengths against Argentina before they can start to spread their wings. South Africa have traditionally played a conservative style of rugby, relying on superior physical strength in the tackle and an accurate kicking game.
  19. We not, AC has already stated that he is sticking to "SA Style" of kick, bump and grind. Not that it's doing us any good.
  20. Cant wait to hear what AC has to say.
  21. We don't have an abundance of open trails where we can ride so must be thankful for what we get, places like Northern farm, Modderfontein, Big Red barn are specific so you cant compare. There will always be complaints, too little single track, not enough climbs, but then complaints of hogging single track, riders dismounting and pushing up "rideable" climbs pop up.
  22. Wonder if Etsebeth, who came out supporting AC's game plan (taking the Stormers plan and making it the Springboks) still believes with a few tweek's it will bear fruit. Australia on the 10th Sept, a loss to them after they were thumped by the All Blacks will really put pressure on.
  23. Feeling better now having got that in.
  24. Lynette Burger used to regularly ride from Boksburg and do loops round SBR.
