  1. Plus 1 for Silverback, earlier this year i took my Silverback ModaNine in for service, they mentioned that there were a few problems with some bikes and would check mine out. Went to collect and they presented me with a new Mercury frame and parts swapped over, Silverback had given them the go ahead to replace even though they found nothing wrong.
  2. If you doing 22kmh in training you should be faster in a race, route dependent and number of riders taken into account.
  3. Not much, total for all the years on the Hub. Sold 1 x MTB (Cash transfer, met in public place) Bought Garmin unit Cranks Sunglasses (OK quite a few a i keep breaking them) Bike Lights
  4. Oi, the pic of me watching this fred has been removed

  8. This is inspiring A devoted father has completed a triathlon carrying his 13-year-old cerebral palsy-afflicted daughter across land and through water so that she could complete the gruelling event. Rick van Beek's feat of endurance and show of love for his daughter Madison have led many to call the man from Byron Center, Michigan the 'father of the century'. But it is not the first race of its kind for van Beek, who said he has participated in more than 70 events, including half-marathons, triathlons and other outdoor races, as part of 'Team Maddy'. He and Maddy took part in the Sanford and Sun sprint triathlon on Sunday. Together they completed the 0.3-mile swim, 12.4-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run, with Maddy pictured in her father's arms as they transitioned from section to section. For the swimming portion, van Beek tugs his daughter through the water in a kayak and then pulls her behind him in a cart as he cycles. He runs the last leg pushing her in a buggy. http://www.dailymail...ost_read_module
  9. It's cool. I would also be keen to know who it is. Is it a regular contributor i'.e. someone who posts other than classifieds, old member (In which case it could have been going on a while) ? and how does his classifieds rating look
  10. There's no rule to say you "HAVE TO", you are free to trade with whoever you want.

  12. So you would rather he have remained quiet, even seeing that the Hubber is continuing to post items for sale. It's not his duty to report it, he just issued a cautionary notice so others can be made aware.
  13. 220 is just a rough guide , if i went with mine i would be maxed majority of the time. Best is to get it accurately done by the sports fitness boffins
  14. Yikes, tough audience, Naas has just issued a precautionary. No need for a lynch mob or calls for the classifieds to be shutdown quite yet.
  15. LoL, but there is reason in the thread, certain bikes suit a certain style of riding and rider. Every day we see a newbie posting a question on what bike to buy with various suggestions. All the magazines have regular tests, the latest Tread has gone where no other mag has and included 26 vs 27.5 vs 29 debate with the pro's and cons.
  16. Semenya can be the mistress of disguise, in the semi's which she won she hardly looked like she had just run. She has stated she misjudged it. She was bearing down on the Russian and IMO if it had been a few metres more she would have caught her.
  17. If you look at how she ran, from heats to semi final and even her other races in Europe that's how Semenya runs, she comes from behind and only really kicks the 2nd lap.
  18. Great bike but i would change the wheels, Crest are built for light trail use and MTB review's by users has them as a problem for heavier riders. I have the slightly heavier Arch and so far after 8 months of use iv'e experienced no issues.
  19. Are there any stats on how many riders rode 29, 27.5 or 26. Unless that it's known we cant really compare.
  20. I thought the camera work at the MTB was very well done.
