I agree. We all need to stop calling each other fools, A#SEH#LES, idiots, morons and the like. Do it to the person's face, not all safe and anonymous on the Hub or through a closed car window at some woman. Sometimes drivers get distracted - anyone can make a mistake (I know none of us have ever made a silly mistake while not fully focused on driving our cars. We are obviously above that). If you ride defensively, you will be aware of what is going on around you and anticipate problems before they arise.

32 plays 32! It was an idea putting the poll up to gauge the waters. I think Thug has a point (with the 3 points listed). I was in two minds as to whether to vote at all. Then I thought, I am not supporting BigH, so I voted and voted YES. I actually take into account that other cyclists are aggressive on the road towards motorists and therefore I ride VERY defensively.

Morning Kansas, I also stay as far left as possible. Call me a coward, but I would rather not get into a situation where I have a disagreement with a car. Even if I am right, I am dead/comatose/wheelchair bound/hospitalised (in decending order of scariness). I keep out of the way of cars and do not get confrontational - all the driver has to do is swing left and I take up flying without any lessons. Thanks, but no.

If you guys are sure about Procycles, then it is all good for me. I do like going there and Ian convinced my 13 year old son to buy a MTB to commute to High School next year instead of a trick bike. He already has one, so thank you to "surly" Ian for that.

If it is not your duty to educate them (the so called professional team), then why even bother bringing it up here? Is it to act high and mighty? Is it to garner favour with a "look at them being bad" attitude? Instead of taking photos all the time and quoting friends who live in the Cradle area, do something. It is obviously a bone of contention in your life, so rather do something and then tell us about that. We are not being negative toward you BigH, but the complaining needs to stop or at least take a breather. If it bothers you that much, go out and do something that will make the bother stop.
