  1. Hi All. Firstly, congrats to all those who finished. This year marks the second year of me missing out on this great event (due to fractures) which I so seriously wanted to compete in.. I just visited the web page to enter next year's event, but it shows entries not open yet.. Was I too late for the early entries, or was the early entries just for the 2017 entrants?
  2. Good day Peach. U can definitely put me down for the 19th of Dec..
  3. Good morning Peach. I presume there is no way you can organise a lesson on the 19th of Dec? We are in Kzn that weekend of 11 Dec..
  4. Thanks guys.
  5. Good day Peach. Any chances for lessons before year end - beginner or intermediate?
  6. Thanks Spinnekkop. At least another 6 weeks of care free cycling left. I'll try to hook up with some of the guys cycling early mornings. Í saw a big bulletin board around Rigel ave on the side of the N1 advertising mtb-ing.. Is that perhaps the Klapperkop trails?
  7. Wow!! This was seriously not a nice thread to read.. We are moving to Pta end of January. So where do u guys train early in the mornings? Here in the platteland, things is a bit easier - one day I'll sommer take a single track I've never been on before and the next time a totally different route... My wife actually stopped to ask for a "planned route".. Up to date I never had problems though, not even a person even eye-bolling me suspiciously.
  8. Good day Chris. I hope there is still an opening for me in tomorrow's class at 14h00. Can u please give me directions how to get there? Thks.
  9. Good day Chris. After reading through this thread, I think I qualify for an intermediate. Will it make a difference if I only have a hardtail? When is the next class?
  10. Hi everybody. I also just joined the hub. I must agree with Dubbin, this site really is addictive! I have been a lot on this site, even the misses is irritated with me and the hub. May will be my first anniversary in mtb-king and so far I've learned a lot on the hub.
  11. Please, some directions how to get to the VG? Reading all this positive posts of it makes one feel to go there right now!
