  1. Any advice on what rear derailleur (11 speed) will work with this Sram Rival shifters (picture attached) I want to fit a 40 - 11 cassette Tried it with the short gage Rival derailleur (picture attached) and a hanger extender. Even with the hanger extender it appears the body of the rear derailleur is too short to reach the 40-tooth sprocket. (limit screws at max open) Also tried a 10 speed X9 rear derailleur - same issue ---body of the rear derailleur is too short to reach the 40-tooth sprocket. (limit screws at max open) Does Sram 11 speed road shifters also share the same pull ratio as mtb 11 speed Sram? I know this is the case for Sram 10 speed (both 1:1 pull ratio for road and mtb. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  2. ERG mode ?

  5. GRX crank arms are solid and not bonded together. The issue you referring to is only for road cranks (Ultegra and Dura Ace)?
  6. You need a motorcycle helmet instill sorted. Be safe.
  7. looking for this bracket (at the rear brake) It is a S5 and think it is the model just before the rear brake mount in your picture.
  8. bike has a flip swich - to change the wheel base of bike It is two small plates bolted into each other - maybe remove both sides from frame - clean and re grease them / lock tight. Also ensure the hanger is secure - mine rattled lose after some heavy corrugation / sinkplaat roads after a while.
  9. I previous generation had a D shape post. But then you cannot fit a dropper post. They kept the D shape post but made the frame round - now a dropper can be fit. According to their marketing they want us to believe a D shape is more compliant - and they are well aware compliance is one of the marketing parameters that cannot be measured ...๐Ÿ™ƒ My frame is a size XL. My saddle height is exactly on the minimum insert line. Appears they only have one length seat post (350mm)... that comes with small to XL frames... Thus Left me with only about 50mm post inside the frame. Replaced it with a one piece round post (400mm). now I have 5cm extra post inside the frame. problem solved . Compliance the same - saved 100g on weight. Another example that bike manufacturers don't really cater on the smaller detail for tall riders...
  10. My Revolt's creaking came from the seat post. Did you test if the creaking is still there while standing vs sitting on saddle . I replaced my original seat post with a one piece round post (30.9mm) and ditched the two piece D shape and wedge system. The original seat post was slipping and creaking from day one...
  11. Is this still the case?
  12. I ride the Kenda Booster pro 29 x 2.2 (measured about 55mm...) on my Giant Revolt. 589g a tyre. Rides like a tank... ๐Ÿ‘Œ
  13. Sram 10 speed has a 1:1 pull ratio for road and mtb. I been mixing Sram 10 speed road and mtb shifters and derailleurs for ages. works 100%. Not sure if it is still the case with 11 speeds Mixing Shimano 8 ; 9 ;10 and 11 speed mtb and road components is a minefield in terms of pull ratio's... Fun fact: With my very first monster bike built (can be 12 to13 years back) inspired by a thread on the old Hub (before the website crashed) I have used: Giant XTC aluminium 29er frame and a rigid carbon fork Sora 8 speed (shifters and derailleur) Mechanical cable disc brakes The braking was really bad with a lot of flex At the end the flexing was not the brake cable as many will assume, but the plastic STI levers... Changed to Sram Red 10 speed carbon shifters and the difference in braking performance was like night and day (using the same cables and brake callipers)
  14. so the additional 90 days appears to be a gesture of goodwill then? Friday scoreboard then JJacquesJ : 1 Bikehub keyboard warriors (including myself) : 0 ๐Ÿ™ƒ
