Every morning I wake up happy that I live in Tzaneen. No vagrants, no faeces, no stravaholes, no PKs (unless you hang in the bosveld lapa on friday night drinking brandy and then its your own fault ). Nothing but mountains. Come up on the 2nd November for the Magoebaskloof Classic and spend a weekend forgetting there is a spruit.

CAAD or SWorks Allez is as light and stiffer than carbon frames in th low and mid price range. My Alu CAAD is nearly a kg lighter than my carbon bike and way stiffer with its BB30. Comfortable? These are race bikes. If you want comfort buy a sportive or fit 25c tires.

Tell that to my CAAD at 7.4 kg ready to ride.

My wife, son and I are in! Can't wait for my annual pilgrimage.

He has pedigree even if he is old. He is very lean, we'll rested and started the tour claiming he wanted to win. It's just that no one took him seriously. Maybe he is juiced but its not that easy to get away with these days. The Vuelta is a long way from over though. Look how relaxed Nibali was at the end of yesterday's stage.
