  3. http://www.pinkbike.com/video/155942/
  4. We can swop if you want? Oh have you seen any of the yachting racing down in table bay? Been racing out there this past week.
  5. Now I'm properly jealous although I still digs my wheel set
  6. Haha yes as you can afford a demo, but if I could afford a cruz I wouldn't be. Light bikes are a win for any type of riding style.
  7. Demo 8 could plough a farm better than a plough!
  8. Basically you'd prefer to plough through the rock garden than to float over it as if you were riding a magic carpet.
  9. That Santa Cruz is sweet! Nice light fast bike! Cap you'd rather have a demo over a carbon Santa cruz dam!
  10. Um what bikes are they using? They look like road bikes?
  11. LOL Cap you know they made a porno add for the specialized Demo
  12. Slow down for a rock garden what? You got a marzocchi man!! Rock Garden Full speed!!! So Cap when you going to come check out the DJ track Alex, brandon and I have been working on?
  13. hmmm get some cheap parts and single speed it?
  14. You probably wondering why carbon, and thinking man this oaks only 17 and just wants to use carbon because it looks cool. My reason is is that in the holidays I'm wanting to go work at central boating I think it is, or even at Steve's place in Muzenburg. That way my holidays will consist of work with fiber glassing and building carbon fiber masts. Meaning I will have some experience with the material. But ja I will make many prototypes and try different things. Do you rate I go for box guide or wheels all round?
  15. Oh I see right so give away?
  16. Would will break though and if you go straight in to carbon you'll also learn all the limitation that you will have with that material. well not easy but easier than sitting with a slab of alu and a file. Okay well I will tackle that when I get to that phase. Right now I'm at phase one. . . Get a copy of Auto cad or solid works from school. . .
  17. Lets be honest if you could have a spesh right now you would I think I'm just going to go straight to carbon as it will probably be the easiest material to work with.
  18. No time right now maybe in holidays as I will have access to carbon then as well. You an Sam Hill! If he rode a rusty old million year old penny farling a week later you'd checks Maya rolling down the hill with a a penny farling thing.
  19. Yeah but you look cool and it less sore. What you got another chain guide? Why? I'm really keen to make my own chain device all the ons on the market look ***. Except for the one that Mark makes saw a prototype looks sexci
  20. Ja thats what I meant tap the back brake slide out while sliding start cranking and you'll be power sliding round that berm instead of been wrapped around said trees.
  21. Hi I was just woundering how much you guys think I'd be able to get for this frame (Trek 800). Have no idea what it is worth. It is the blue and yellow so about a 2002 model can only take V-brakes and the frame is stainless steel. Comes with the rigid fork.
  22. Next time capricorn, Tap the brakes get the foot out and keep looking cool!!
  23. Jason I have no idea if he will be there or not. Angus is back from Moz so should be there. I want be rocking this weekend as will be racing boats instead of the Sled. I have even put my boxxer on for this event and now I can't make it.
  24. So thats why I been doing so badly in all my races.
  25. So whos racing this weekend?? just about a day away and havn't seen any talk about it on the forum
