  1. Just a question, why ride your bike on Rhodes Drive? You are bound to get hit by a car, even one that is doing 60kmh.
  2. I think the new Izimu looks horrible!! Maybe it's something that will just take time to get use to. Makulu looks awesome though.
  3. Yes my stolen Santa Cruz also ended up with him
  4. Yup, I shattered my elbow into 5 peices. Was under for just under 6 hours while they peiced it back together.
  5. Vasbyt is DH3 btw, says so on the sign . I love the sand, but that's just me, I tend to like those really loose tracks with lots of 2 wheel drifting.
  6. you can buy a hub that moves back and forth, so it would be as if you had horizontal drop outs, other wise you could try get the right chain length with a half link chain. @nd option will prob be the easiest
  7. well each to his own.
  8. MTB is best in the rain, don't you love the mud!!! Makes me feel as if I'm 10 again. As for the bike, looks awesome, what does it weigh?
  9. Apparently it is pretty easy as sram brings out the seals kit for warrenty replacements for the Boxxer world cup.
  10. I wouldn't go as far to put DH tyres, but def something that can take more abuse. As the DH tyres don't have very good rolling resistance and weigh around 1.3kg per tyre. I'd say try nevagals if you really want to go for a DH tyre Maxxis Minnion very good tyre and very predictable or even High rollers.
  11. Quote from the new tread mag. . . Downhill mountain bikers may just have it all. They're laid back, fun-loving, they look cool and they don't feel the need to rush to the top of any slope ever. And then they get to embrace gravity and ride as fast as they possibly can down any decent, mostly not pedalling, flowing smoothly over the roughest terrain, impressing their peers, pushing the limits of physics, maxing out their adrenal glands and suspension travel and just having a lot of fun. Want some of that?
  12. Side walls tear really easily and they don't have much grip when cornering quickly. I have been really happy with my Kenda Nevagals though
  13. If you covert the Boxxer RC to Air is it then lighter than the WC as it will have less in it?
  14. The new nuke proof DH frame
  15. Does anyone know what the 09 morewood izimu frame weighs?
  16. no so over rated, it bad at all just *** fun. I was riding a Air Con (Giant AC) so you have nothing to worry about.
