  1. Jeez all this fancy talk, I would love to own a 'Dale with a lefty! just cuz its so flippin COOL! and is stiffer lighter blah blah blah....
  2. Well consdering that Boeing make aircraft wings out of the fantastic plastic I don't think that a MTB frame will have a definate lifespan, short of crashing it I don't see why carbon should suddenly delaminate and fall apart.
  3. They might just need adjustment, on the brake lever there should be a small allen key that you can adjust, normally its on the pushrod that goes into the master cylinder
  4. So now does that confirm or dismiss the rumours?...Lack of a straight answer? I'm gonna leave it at that.
  5. Sorry-would come but I'm riding Rooiberg.
  6. So can anyone answer my stab in the dark earlier, has Garmin pulled the plug on thair team or not?

  8. shhesh, but whats the other side of the coin? If that is the case the riders must be pretty pissed! But I've also heard that Garmin has pulled the plug on their team...I've heard the marketing guy I think it was Jason? is now working for the opposition...?
  9. I personally run a Mountain king 2.4 up front and a 2.2 Race king on the rear... Never have a problem with grip!!! in rain or shine, Big tyres are the way to go, If I had room on my road bike I'd run 28c tyres but alas I have to make do with skinny 25's
  10. Go DT all the way!!! they are easy to service, If need be you can get a set custom built for your needs and Doug has lots of spares to back up his product!
  11. Hi the bolts will need a washer of sorts as they are too long, I used the old suspension spacers off a Scott Genius kit they are perfectly sized for the job.
  12. I have the Topeak HID moonshine and yes its a lot of money but its also a lot of light!
  13. A bit of faith was restored yesterday on my ride along the spruit, at the feild and study centre the gates were open and there were cops mulling around so I thought "great" there's a police prescence. Then as I came up onto William Nicol there were 4 cop cars and about 10 cops surrounding a group of vagrants for want of a better word, all getting searched, but the best part was it looked as though they had seized a pretty decent looking Scott MTB from this group. So thumbs up to SAPS!
