  1. It's literally a cyclist a week now. FFS. It scares me to even think about riding on the road. Condolences to family and friends.
  2. The problem is you go mountain biking in the fields or farms you get attacked and robbed. You cycle on roads cars and taxi's hit you. You cycle alone on the road and a taxi pulls up and rob you. It's just not safe anymore. a Personal good friend of mine and his wife got run over in PE in 2015, his wive passed on the scene. It was also posted on the forums here. R.I.P to the person that passed.
  3. Yes I hope he did meet babba the butch.
  4. I do miss seeing Burry's name pop up everywhere, winning this, winning that, doing so good here and there. Does anyone know what happened to the taxi driver?
  5. I'm willing to donate a Cube HPA Elite 26" medium frame with Rock Shox Sid. The bottom bracket needs a service and the SRAM XO jockey at the back needs a hanger. The wheels are DT Swiss. Unfortunately I'm going to keep the brakes as they're better than my current brakes. Let me know if you are interested.
  6. I have the 96.800 alloy version with Fox. Awesome bike and good geometry.
  7. I live next to the first decent. Wind is suppose to gust at 26 knots at midday today. Its very windy right now. West to East.
  8. I have the exact same Merida 96.800 medium. I am 1.82m tall and male. Fits me perfectly. Maybe you should go for a size small
  9. That green Scott is just stunning. I always find a hardtail much sexier than full sus.
  10. Seeing that you guys post your almost black but yet so beautiful bikes, here's my new one.
  11. Got this beauty recently. Happy days to me!
  12. I am terrible sad for your loss my friend. Be strong..may God bless you.
  13. I dislike all roadies.....where can I post a thread about this??
  14. This is absolutely shocking ^^^^ (above). FFS. This seems to be the common sense here on the hub. For the person that wrote the above.....I also felt this site is shared by everyone having the same passion and the same outlook on life with 2 wheels and especially not to rip off a fellow hubber. Clearly you cannot teach common sense! Like the author said: he thought we were all on the same page here on the hub....clearly not...especially not with people thinking that it's the buyers responsibility to arrange a lie detector to check all aspects.
  15. I have this frame that needs some fixing on the left drop out stay. There are alloy brackets where the stay goes into the bracket and the left stay came lose or pulled a bit out of the bracket. The tire also rubbed against the inside and made a bit of a mark as soon as this happened. I don't think this will be an expensive thing to repair as I have repaired another carbon frame with more serious damage to the frame for only a few thousand rands in Joburg. It's a full carbon frame 26". I am situated in the Northern Drakensberg if anyone is interested.
  16. Don't think that I would like to have one but it is a beautiful looking machine.
