Cycling is all about working against the forces that are working against you, not so. Hence to remain at a constant speed on an incline you would have to remain in eternal acceleration. This would be a little less so on a flat but still present.

Young man, this is without a doubt the best bike you will ever ride! Not convinced on the tyres but those are easy enough to change. The frame is nothing short of miraculous. Good choice young man.

Finally got my copy of 24 Solo and watched it last night. As it turns out, I don't get shown, that was very upsetting! Well, there is almost a hint of me at 1 point behind Hendershot but the camera's focussed on him. You see my SA flag alot as the guys go through pit lane which is pretty cool. The movie itself really captures the particular psychosis that one needs to be affected by to race this type of race and at this level, I've always found it hard to explain to people why I do this, this movie really does help.

Probably drive, gonna get a Double cab by then. Frans won't do it, he says he will but I very much doubt it. Accomodation shouldn't be too much of an issue, I know people, Fats, knows people, a friend knows people, should be able to get a real house in Swakop as well. Will sort out closer to the time.
