  1. How did this go? I watched it this morning but it looks like they didn't cover much of the Frappe category
  2. Wow! Congrats, that's awesome! I've seen your team tag pop up in a lot of races
  3. It's a bit of a bummer. I wouldn't have bought it if it had the post-nerf specs. It's still a fast frame but I'd rather use the Tron or the Venge
  4. So they aren't taking new claims but they'll still take R1.98 of my money per liter of petrol? Niiiiiiice!
  5. I looked at their Facebook page this morning to see what the lucky draw situation was and saw a pic congratulating the top three oaks on their R1000. The W2W entries have already been won but I'm holding thumbs for something cool to come my way
  6. If I'd known there was a R1000 for the top three finishers maybe I would have tried harder! In reality I was never going to hang with them. I could see you reeling me in at the end, it took a lot to just maintain that gap. Congrats on the top 10!
  7. No draft! I had no idea! I was wondering why I was doing more work than the guy in front of me! It was brutal. The front 2 guys shot off and a rate I knew I couldn't hold so I dropped back a bit. If I'd known it was going t be a solo TT things might have gone differently. Nabbed 7th, so I'm happy with that
  8. That's a bummer! Maybe try doing one more group ride or race and see if it registers? I know they had a bug on the first day where if you did one workout they would give you all the unlock. Perhaps there are still some lingering bugs?
  9. If you guys arent using them already I'd definitely recommend using one of those sweat guards that sit above the top tube between your handlebars and seatpost. I made a ghetto one during lockdown out of an old arm warmer and it works wonders stopping stray sweat droplets from making it onto my bike. Between that, a big fan, and a towel on the handlebars the floor stays pretty dry
  10. Nice! Please post a pic of the Canyon bike you get for completing ZA
  11. It's based on your FTP. Races are often shorter than an hour so the average w/kg may be slightly higher than stated but longer races tend to be bang on in terms of w/kg. Take Andymann up on the offer to sort ZwiftPower out. It's a much more reliable and transparent way to see your race results and to categorise yourself correctly
  12. Haha well there is a 4 minute all out effort in workout 3 that was particularly spicy. Enjoy
  13. Hold up. Am I supposed to be doing these in order?
  14. I've been doing all the ZA workouts solo up the Alpe. Mostly because you don't get XP for the mileage you do during workouts, so I get the drops bonus instead plus I get to coast down afterwards for free XP. The bonus XP from the wheel of fortune at the top is nice too. It's also handy if you're still working towards the Tron bike and/or the Masochist badge
  15. Gotta say it's EFfective. Any article about the Giro team presentation has a picture of EF
  16. If that were the case the Jumbo Visma would have had a problem in the TdF. I think this kit is just what happens when you design a kit in collaboration with a skateboard brand like Palace who isn't tainted (or influenced rather) by the world of cycling. It's good to see someone doing something fresh and I'm sure it's going to grow on me eventually. I saw a pic on Instagram of their TT helmets and they are pretty hilarious. Hope it wasn't a troll
  17. Consider me jealous! There better be a follow up pic of them installed!
  18. If the world you want to ride is not currently on rotation you can access any world using the world hack. The world wont be as busy as the current worlds (it'll just be you and who ever else is world hacking at the same time) so it can be nice for group rides where you dont want to lose your friends in a sea of other riders. I use a program called "ZwiftPref" that will launch Zwift for you with the desired courses available. Just a side note, this isn't illegal or against Zwift policy. You wont get your account penalised or anything either. I find it a little boring with very few people around, but the option it there if you want it
  19. Hey guys, I managed to damage the thread on my lock ring. It now works it's way loose on rides. If anyone in the Strand area has one to donate I would be very appreciative. I feel silly for having thrown so many away in the past now. Shimano 11 speed
  20. Flip that's nice! I'm going to hazard a guess and say Calculus?
  21. I think this started yesterday but Versus are having a decent sale on socks. R69 a pair https://versussocks.com/product-tag/flash-sale/
  22. Lol! Another creative genius! What's then end game here? Say he pays you via Skrill, are you just supposed to release the item? What if you decide you want to verify the money has cleared? Or accidentallygive an erroneous address
  23. Try Janine at cptinternational(at)postoffice(dot)co(dot)za Whenever an international package lands in SA I email her and get a local number. You can then use the SAPO track and trace website (when it isnt down) to keep track of things.
