Okay well...cycling's my main hobby / sport / activity / pass time, but i do tons of other stuff too. (oh...and due to matric/operations/life in general i haven't done as much actual time on the bike this year) So agreed - i love hiking, swimming, gym work, squash, indoor cricket, Gyro etc. too. (basically anything that pushes up your heart rate) When there's something else that's happening, i'd easily skip a Sunday ride to rather do whatever else has come up... Cycling's for fun, and i guess that's why i'm kinda obsessed - it's the one thing i enjoy more than all the other stuff and that i've been doing the longest (12th of Sept this year, i've been cycling for half of my life) Non-sporting stuff...i'll spend hours reading or writing... I think i'm well balanced...

oh ja...that and the fact that i've got 5420 posts behind my name on the hub...haha

I have a bike chain around my arm My room: I mounted my two casualties (i.e my two Orbea frames that i crashed) on my wall above my bed...where i can touch them when i lift my left hand. Two sets of wheels are arranged on the wall next to the one with the frames A Lampre top also on that wall All the "hey-you-completed-a-funride" medals also on a wall. (i'll see if i can post photos later) i sometimes wear my club jacket when going out I ask my dad whether i can take my road bike with on Dec.holidays and then sneak the mountain bike in too (hidden under blankets etc), so when we unpack i'm like "huh?? Where'd both bikes come from?" The only thing that i watch on TV is the Tour...so basically a TV is kinda useless for me in 11 out of the 12 months of the year. I have photo sessions where i only take fodies of my gorgeous babies! When thinking about getting a bf...first question - "do you cycle" him: "no"... me: "uhm...nice knowing you" i have leg-fetishes and can spot a cyclist from a mile away. So far, all the places i've gone without my parents were with the club/other cyclists. Apart from the school people...prabably about 95% of my friends are cyclists. Nahhhh...i don't think i'm obsessed....

Whackhead's getting a bit lame...and he's accent's not that great - i'd think most people will be able to recognise his voice by now... I THINK Ryan O'Connor's doing the prank calls on KFM nowadays though...he's MUCH better IMO...!!!

Went to watch two of the stages - and what a great time!!!! Wow, i'll definitely be there next year riding [suffering???] for UCT, Kovsies or Tuks...dunno yet - but judging by what i saw it seems like such a cool thing to do!!! Wow - Henning rode superbly on Tuesday's stage!! Could see it got painfull after a while, but well done on staying away for so long! What Michael P and Shammy's concerned - you guys also did SUPER well closing that gap... (di? stage was veral lekker omdat ek en Vuurtjie dit uit die Tukkies team kar kon kyk) The TT - rather you guys than me, thank you very much! I got enough of that wind on the way there, so was more than happy standing on the side of the road cheering the people on on the start and finish lines. The TCS guys rocked! Cruxie...ek was proudly TCS (wel...onder andere - haha) het op die TT stage even 'n TCS top gedra! hehe Snapshot - there should be quite a few photos of the TT - they passed someone's camera on to me and i got click-happy, so there should be a 100-odd pics, if not more. Just find out who's camera it was and get someone to get the pics uploaded. Was great to meet tons of stunning people! Witrot - good to FINALLY meet you! Mr.Pitt, Henning, Shammy...same to you! And all the others who i've known for a while (Donks, Phen, Fire...etc ), nice to see you again. O ja...en die lekkerste verrassing was om weer vir Marilette te sien!!!!
