OK Mampara .... sentence fixed!!

I know this topic was discussed previously on the hub, but I have to raise it again! Travelling this morning on the R59 and saw a number of cyclists cycling on the R59 in particular the section between Swartkoppies and Engen garage. Whilst travelling a number of metor cop cars (cars ranging from GTI's, STI's, Caddy VW panel vans etc.) came past me at very high speeds and at times went onto the yellow shoulder to past trucks as other cars were passing these trucks in the fast lane; my fear was what if these metro cops hit a cyclist in the yellow lane at speeds around 200km/h? Cyclists, don't be a statistic by cycling on these highways!

Agree with you .... I do not have energy on thehub to prove I have a strong attitude ...rather let the other person be the strong one!!!

I have to agree with you; I only get onto thehub and viewing the classified section; reason is there are a certain element on this hub that believe thehub belongs to them and ONLY their viewpoint count, so why argue with those type of mentality ..... i just stay clear of the topics where those people are involved in!!!

With all this attention in the Media with Julius / ET; is this not a divert of a real issue maybe? cover-up for WC2010 failure; Jacob Zuma??; it just does not make sense giving Julius so much attention ....

Slave ... response not directed at you personally. Because humans feel that only their OPINION counts; they better than other human beings but they forget one fundamental fact ... GOD CREATED ALL EQUAL ... if you have more intellectual capacity, try and share with (help) those that has less than you ....

RIP .... We are all also motorists when we off our bicycles ... be patient when driving your cars; accidents happen in a split second; do not regret your actions after the fact ... think twice before getting cross with Taxis; do not overtake a slow vehicle/truck on the left ... when there is a traffic jam, just exercise caution and patience; your life is much more worth than a rush!!! money can not replace your life and bring back someone back in poor judgement and hasty decisions.

No offence ... maybe the most important reason to pay R500-R800 and transport the bike with one of the long haul tranport companies????

Is it not better to try and resolve these differences at the meeting of 20 Jan???
