  1. Spidey ... are you interested in this LTD Fizik Saddle??
  2. Harryn, have to agree with you!! The hubbers (a vast amount of them) do not THINK before they post a comment .... Look at the last onslaught of "some" hubbers on the "Price Fixing" debate ... Some hubbers went as far as going out of their way to "personally attack" Andrew M and Fritz P ... even bringing these individuals lifestyles etc. into the debate ... just to apologize a few pages later .... (once all the facts were established) It shows to me the mentality of some of the hubbers!!
  3. Spartan ... compare cwcycles.co.za tubby prices ... with totalcycling.com ... if you do a substancial order from totalcycling, it pays to get the Continental Gatorskins Tubby ... if not then cwcycles Vittoria Corsa CX at around R550 is a good price ... if you going to use you tubbies for racing ONLY, then get decent tubbies ...
  4. Spartan ... base on you getting ZIPP 202, I presume you are going to use these rims for hilly course racing??? what the ZIPP 202 was designed for! If so then I would recommend you get a tubby with thread ... not a slick type ... There are cheaper tubbies on the market <R200 ... but they are more training type tubbies.KlapperKnop2008-10-06 12:04:18
  5. Spartan SL .. check again on that website .. drill under wheels .. tubular ... the vredensteins under that tab is R999, which sound right .... Those of R459 are clinchers!
  6. There is a Vredenstein Fortezza SL version, which retails around R700 ... I am not sure what type is advertised on the cyclingshop website .. sounds like a entry level tubby or midrange ...
  7. That first hill is a "mean" hill?? looks about 240m ascent over 2km?? What gearing do you use ... 39x25??
  8. Vittoria Corsa CX or Vredestein Fortezza's (spelling)
  9. at least it looks like the school kids, whilst at school are not on the hub?
  10. Maybe the sponsor just got fed-up with cycling and their moaning?
  11. Carlo, have you weigh the bike on a stand scale? It would be interesting to see how far off you calculated weight is to actual weight. KlapperKnop2008-09-29 01:55:13
  12. I hope this is the case ... The irony is why does these authorities not do a thorough investigation before making an announcement or post and allegation?? Look at even how this post started ... next thing hubbers start speculation Carlos Sastre ... So much damaging to cycling with no hard core facts / evidence!
  13. Winningtime is not consistent with publishing results ... some of the races like the Lost City, they were excellent with publishing their results ...
  14. Quote from http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5gh9q7wcQ3-WTVwexJM-s_F5iBm3g "He was snared by a codename on a blood bags, labelled with the name of his dog 'Birillo'. Allegations have been made that another blood bag, labelled 'friend of Birillo', relates to Frank Schleck." Friend of Birillo (Basso) could even be Lance, it could be anyone, even Ben Johnson!
  15. During TdF 2008, has Frank been tested during the race? Having the yellow jersey; do you people honestly think he would not have been tested??? Surely he was just lucky at the time of Basso that he was not caught in 2006 ...
  16. Did you try and clear your history and cookies of your browser??
  17. Gila .. you perhaps related to Andrew Joffe??
  18. niche market these guys are in and their after sales service is EXCELLENT ... These type of people are NOT fly-by-night people, but here to establish a name around SERVICE for themselves ... WELL DONE!!! and an EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!!
  19. CPT has 5 months to clear the roads ... then the Vaalies will be down in CPT for the Argus!
  20. There is a saying in Afrikaans " Vergewe en Vergeet" Let bygones be bygones .... move on ... let the hub be the old one!!
