Yes exactly that... The demand has dropped because a lot of businesses have lost money due to load shedding and have explored alternative means. Some go the cheap route and just install a Generator. Others have realized the benefit of generating your own power. The public is increasingly switching to Solar Heaters and some also opted to install PV Power. Although its still expensive, one can get a loan and still be cash positive at the end of the month.

Well don't worry too much.. Apart from maintenance load shedding as a form of power management is unlikely to return soon.. Thats exactly the problem.. They know what the solution is, but they do not care because it does not financially benefit em.

No No No... We are not heading for a surplus because Eskom is doing a great job in spending our tax money on expensive, dirty power stations. The SA public has given you the finger and are increasingly installing Solar Water Heaters and PV Power systems. Companies, like mine, know that if it was not for the SA middle and upper class being sick of having to deal with load shedding, after you took our Tax money to build a firepool instead of maintaining the existing power staions, Eskom would still be Knee Deep in s###. Rather forget about coal fired power and invest in Renewables.. incentivise my clients to install a Solar PV system or Solar Heater again.. But No.. too many of you have "interests" in the coal mines.

Lions Destroyed the "CSA Favourites" Cobras. Really good win. Both My Rugby and Cricket Lions teams are on their way up... Its about time, I have suffered years of abuse. Mgijima is actually a little bit more of a bowling all-rounder who can bat a little. His First Class (test type) batting average(25) is actually not too horrible but his List A(one day) batting average(11) and strike rate(62) is way sub par for someone sent in to bat 6 in a final. So yes a bit of a passenger. It's really sad because although CSA maintains that there are no official quotas (but it recommended that X amount is included) we often see guys like him playing when there are alot of tallent flying over to England, Europe and even these days Oz

With LambTjops and Pollard injured the next in line Fly Half for the Boks will have to be EJ. Under coach Ackers he is allowed to play his (Carlos Spencer induced) game. That stint at the Stormers (along with his father passing away) nearly killed his career because the Stormers did not want him to do what made him shine. He is the only #10 in SA that aggressively attcaks the line. Alot of the others seem to be scared to take contact.
