  1. Elton is going to play the Rugby World on fire this year.. What I like about him is his flair. He can run, he can distribute, he can kick, he can really get a backline going and he always keeps the opposition guessing.. He is going to be key if the Lions are going to improve on their campaign from last year..
  2. The 8th player was directly involved in play, which ended up in a try eventually. If he was just hanging around at the back, no impact on the play and then realized "oops I should get off the field" I would understand but he was involved in play.. Very poor from IRB or World Rugby or NZRB or AllBlacks united or whatever they call themselves these days

Maybe im just biased coz im a bowler, but the game is so heavilly favoured towards batters that i dont have any problem with a Mankad. The WIvZIM call was marginal but its my opinion that the batter should keep his ground until the ball is bowled. Its the rule. Again, if Oz needs one run to win of one ball in WC final against SA and the non striker steals 10cm then makes it home by 5cm the other end, I would be really dissapointed.. its just fair.

Really disappointing. I hope its not a sign of years to come.. Luckily the batch of current youngsters ( Rabada's ,Aiden Markram's ) should be around for a while.. Maybe they can be our Dream team batch like Oz had with Warne, Waugh, McGrath etc

England aka World United... They did tighten up the Kolpak deals alot.. It seemed, a few years ago, that just about any Kid who played Prem Club cricket could go over and eventually get a contract. SA now has a few rules of their own with the Visa regulations and all

So Finally we get a good test win. I'm really happy for the guys. I think that sometimes things just do not go your way and it all started going wrong with those cabbage patch wickets in India. But they stayed true to the #ProteaFire motto and fought until the bitter end, somewhat embarrassing England ion this final test. Now some may say its a little too late, it's a dead rubber. If that's your opinion you have clearly never taken to a sports field and you might be suffering from the Mediocrity disease yourself. No sportsmen play to loose and go ask Kagiso Rabada if this was a dead rubber for him. The other thing we have to remember is we now sit 2nd on the ICC test rankings, if we lost we would have dropped to 4th.. What a star we have in Kagiso Rabada, He is hitting the scene at exactly the right moment (when Dale Steyn is getting injuries). I really like him, his action is effortless and he should stay fairly injury free throughout his career. He is going to be a big one... and I hope the selectors and administration realize... If this is what transformation produces, no one has a problem with it.. this guy is a star and deserves his place Just like Ntini all those years back. Its not about colour, its about Merrit... Goolam Bodi vs Kevin Pietersen is probably the best example of this we will ever have. Talking about Goolam Bodi.... Seriously, do I even have to comment...and Thami Tsolekile. You see, you can fool the SA public with transformation, making us think some players deserve to be there. They will have long, very mediocre careers but at least they will get payed for it right... The problem though is this... That same player feels that he is not earning enough in SA and wants a Kolpak deal in the UK or a Big Bash contract or even an IPL stint. These institutions pick purely on merit and these guys will not even feature in the list of candidates there. Maybe thats why they took the bribes? AB as captain... I have said this many a time.. Was Francois Pienaar our best flanker in 1995, was Hansie our best Player in the 90's. You simply do not make the best player captain.. You make a leader captain.. AB has accepted the job because how do you say NO to captaining your country.. But i would not be surprised if come August and the Next Test Series, Dean Elgar might be given the Captaincy... Anyways, Well done to the Poms, they made history. But we will be back to put them back in their place guaranteed.

This is our 1 Big Problem... The Proteas almost never play domestic cricket which leaves the provincial players without the required experience. The problem is the exchange rate and the mediocre salaries our players get. If you get an offer for 4 x your salary for 6 weeks work wont you do it?

Im glad the batters found some runs.. But we should not read too much out of it.. Come Wanderers it will be a little more green and the Bowlers should get some seam and swing.. That will be a more of a test than batting on an absolute road. Unless Chris Scott decides to prepare a 438 game wicket

Damn these Poms are tired... Misfields, catches going down everywhere... its lovely
  14. There is one law I wish they would change.. If a kicker kicks for touch and a player has one foot out of touch and catch it on the full... for me that should not be counted as out on the full... If he is accurate enough to pinpoint it 10cm infield, why should he be penalised?

QdK is a rare talent, no doubt. I do think that SA selectors choose people too quickly though.. Look what happened to Vaugh Van Jaarsveld, he was an awesome talent, but thrown into the deep end to quickly and it killed his international career. QdK needs to work on hi temperament though, he fell right into their plan today.

Well thank goodness the Boys are finding some Runs, even Bavuma and Morris cashing in.. I'm liking the Poms Body language though, catches going down, tired looking bowlers... They really thought they were gonna roll us twice for under 600.

So maybe it turns out to be a better batting wicket than we thought, which leads me to think that maybe ENG made a mistake in declaring that late.. I dont see them getting 17 wickets in two days when three of our out of form batters have found runs. Gonna end in a draw now surely.. Just happy that #, Faf and AB found some runs.

Its a toss we desperately needed to win... We are really missing Vern and Steyn but at least Morris and KG is getting some exposure now, Morris can count himself lucky on account of his batting.. I would have gone with Hardus Viljoen. If we can strike twice early, we can restrict them to under 350. Then we have a chance.. But hey look what happened in that Aussie game a few years back when we bundled them for under 50.

    Cricket......

Thats the Difference between Us and the Aussies for example. Mike Hussey had 15 000 first class runs at an average of 50 before making his Debut. Steve Smith have 7000 FC runs at 55, Adam Voges 12 000 at 46... My point is we choose people too early..way before they are ready.. QdK is a rare talent that started off like a rocket and then folded for a while.. hence they dropped him..hopefully he comes to the party now. Im not an Aussie fan by any means but they do things right(although they obviously dont have to deal with quotas).
  20. Tranquilitas Adventure Farm near Waterval Boven.. a Really lekker place with awesone trails.. Not what you would call endurance riding as the longest trail is only 12km,but very picturesque.
