  4. In the same vein, could a Garmin 910XT be used? I wouldn't really want to go and buy a GPS purely for cycling.
  5. I run mine between 1.6 - 1.7 bar
  6. Where did you get the bars?

There are also some good write-ups on Pinkbike including photos on a daily basis.
  12. Haha, you don't count. You're still in the honeymoon phase when you drop as much on pods as the machine itself.
  13. What do you guys spend on average a month buying pods?
  14. Is the Settlers Ultra still being run? Did the up run prior to my Comrades in 2002. How about for the hardcore out there, the Ultra run on the Saturday with the Bike race the following day back?
  15. Very nice Tankman.
  16. Maybe I'm just being simple here but after having read all posts on this thorny issue, whether or not the road is deemed private, surely a simple "Please may 25/30 riders traverse the land between the weeks of......." would solve the issue amicably?
  17. I rode the 30k Karkloof trail on Sunday morning after SSSC. Awesome riding! Even pofadder with a rigid fork. Got a couple of loose fillings now but on the positive side the scabs from my previous weekends rock bashing excursion all fell off. Sir M, routes are well marked. If you are able, copy my strava file. We ended up doing 33k's.
  18. I think we both qualify for the "Old Geezers" side.
  19. I have simple motto, don't wear the shirt if you haven't done the race.
  20. Of course we missed the Smurfs. Had a lot of enquiries as to where you guys were.
  21. That looks like a damn neat and interesting split.
  22. Couldn't have been too many cause he didn't blow
  23. That's going to be interesting with a Surly fork. Is that the KM fork?
  24. Yebo. Red for the fork and Smoke for the frame. Gave the frame a coat of matt black first though.
  25. Entered and body armour purchased
