Of course the ref cheated. Thought he was inconsistent at the breakdown and got it wrong a few times when the scrum collapsed. But in his defense he was consistently inconsistent for both teams. The Cheetahs were in the game until the 37th minute of the first half. Then some Lambie magic swung the momentum and outcome of the game.

I think the OP's asking when is a prepaid entry fee worth walking away from. I would also have forfeited my R300 entry fee with today's wind. But will I forfeit my R4,200 W2W entry fee in a fortnight if it's windy? No ways. And some less fit and even sick riders may have done today's One Tonner and probably shouldn't have but just weren't willing to consider forfeiting 300 hard-earned Rands.
