Not all riders on the hub ride in the "A" group or are elites. For those of us mere mortals seeding does matter as the higher you seeded the faster you ride (get pulled by the group)

The last seeding that took place was the race before the ninety niner. I've done 4 races without a re-seeding. The next seeeding will likely take place on 7 April which doesn't give you much time to decide if you want to do the Malmesbury ride. I think I'll just give this one a skip

Hi, I went into my first Argus with high expectations. The finish appeared to be an anti climax. People milling around, some not knowing where to get their medals Certainly no atmosphere at the finish. Maybe it's my imagination,but I expected more crowd support along the road

Hi, Despite a well orgainized event, only half the number of cyclist entered compared to Die Burger. One would have expected more considering that it was a seeded event. Was the entrance fee to high or was it because the event took place on a Saturday. It has been brought up in previous threads about the high cost of entering some of these fun rides. I hope the organisers of this event try to minimize the cost of entering this event in futur The high cost of late entry was absurd. Clearly they intended to discourage late entry
