does the CR1 have the non replacable derailler hanger, built into the frame?

for every 1 incident like this on the roads, there are hundreds of civallised, polite and curtious incidents... unfortunately 1 like this is damaging, but i still believe the good out weights the bad... if it was the other way round, i, and most of you who put in hours on the road would be dead!!

I agree.... back to the classifieds!!.... untill more concrete info available, but i really would like to know more about this, as it does concern us all, as hard training cyclists... although statisticly, not likely to happen,,, i have 2 small kids, i need to wake up in the morning!!

I have a friend who is a GP (doctor)... He rekkons, if we knew how many people are living stressed to the max, we would all be alot more polite on the roads!! He says he sees them in his rooms every day, and they are like highly strung time bombs!!! dont mess with road rage, if you do something stupid, put your hand up in appology,, it difusses the situation immediately....

What happens with this enlarged heart thing (i'm no fundi, just what i found out from Mark's death) is... the heart gets realy big, and the muscle becomes big and cumbersome, then with an irregular heart beat, the heart skips a beat, and because its so big, can't start again... With medics close by, chances are good.. but if it happens in your sleep, knowone knows!!! very sad

I would like to know more about what happened for my own health, and for everyone to learn from.... i hope there is an autopsy, and the report is my available. I had a mate who sadly died of a heart attack a few years ago. He was 40 years old and a super fit, and competitive triathlete. The autopsy revealed that he had an enlarged heart, with an irregular beat. Enlarged heart is quite common in endurance athletes, and from what i heard, this guy was a 24hour world mtb champ? sadly though when i heard the news, EPO crossed my mind?

So these problems aren't only in SA... and apparently Australia also has a huge problem with cyclist/car disputes.... I once heard Gareth Cliff have a rant like this on 5 FM!!!

Apparently lance called him an "F#%$ing idiot" on twitter... now they are going to discuss it on his show?? we'll have to what out for it on youtube

ESPN talkshow host has a rant about cyclists and wants to run them down!! lance responds on twitter, and will now go on aire with him...

Thats business... depends whats in the contract... its not "Free advertising".. they pay sponsorship... and the sponsor also carries risk... like, yes, they got great coverage on sunday, but what if someone on the team returns a possitive dope test??? the sponsors name goes through the mud.. which is pretty bad for an insurance type co... they trade on "integrity"!!

just out of interest.... does the mavic neatral car at the tour carry campy and shimano rear wheels?? or now days just 10sp and 11sp wheels?? Sram?? Does the guy in the car just konw when he sees for needs a change, and grab the relevant wheel from his rack??

I'm stoked Contador won,,,,, but i'm not sure he cleaned up!! I always feel a sorry for him on the podium... his excitement is more releave that he won.... huge pressure on him!!

Whatever!!! This race isn't nearly hard, nor long enough for Lance to shine.... its a 100 km sprinters race, and if he is racing in the pro bunch (and not doing the celeb/group thing), he will then just finish snug as a bug a the bunch!!!

i tried to get my pic with Tiger when he was at the million dollar years back... i got pushed away!!! but its not his fault, he cant stop and satisfiy every fan... its impossible..... And about "passport control" these guys go through airports just about every week of there life,,, they should get streamlined through.. i think they even get a special passport??

anybody had any bad experiences with KCNC SC bone mtb flat bar?? ie. breaking etc. i'm keen on one, but worry about light vs. strength on such a critical part??

i think the problem lies in that people greet you on your bike, or visa versa, and you dont hear them with the wind... and people assume "cyclists" are now rude....

In our area we have pretty good banter amonst the cyclist /runners... there are a few tidy chicks that run, so do our utmost to impress!!!
