  1. Queues of people lining up to buy weed before the lockdown in Netherlands https://twitter.com/hausofIau/status/1239239961288851456?s=20
  2. Somebody's going to see this and get the idea to reboot Cool Hand Luke.
  3. Holy C... Dos anybody remember Randy from My Name Is Earl?
  4. Monte Cristo sandwiches. Wasn't a complete success, because I only had cheddar which didn't melt quickly enough to hold the bread together. But I added some chillies and crispy bacon bits and it tasted great.
  5. The Hu made a song for Star Wars!
  6. You're probably going to have to Google this one as well: "How sharper than a serpent's tooth..."
  7. Was his name Cujo?
  8. The Salma Hayek story about how Eminem got his hug is hilarious.
  9. Pork, peas and potatoes.
  10. Anyone watch first episode of '68 Whiskey? Trailer looks pretty good.
  11. Flame-grilled, chef Nico style.
  12. Ford v Ferrari (2019) 8/10, maybe even a 9. Will watch it again when I get a proper HD copy. Screener is good quality, though - totally watchable. The story you probably know, but James Mangold is such a great storyteller I didn't even feel the time pass.
  13. No, it's an animated web series produced by DC itself. Looks like you have to be Uhmerican and subscribe if you want to watch it legally. Website here https://www.dcuniverse.com/coming-soon/
  14. There's a new Harley Quinn animated series out - for ADULTS ONLY. I am not %$#@ kidding you. It is quite funny, but definitely not for kids.
  15. Sadly, the fridging spoiled it for me.
  16. Personally, I just can't see how braaiing biltong would improve the taste. All you're going to do is dry it out, unless you just sear it for a few seconds on a very hot flame. But I would be happy to be proven wrong.
  17. Has anyone watched any of those Hot Ones videos on Youtube? I only discovered them recently and binged a whole night on them. In the show celebrities are invited to eat increasingly spicy hot wings along with the host, while also asked increasingly complex questions. It is, simply, brilliant. Have to say, Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johanson did amazingly well, as did Paul Rudd and Trevor Noah. Idris Elba wanted to start fighting somebody halfway through! But there is a LOT of swearing (especially the girls , so not necessarily SFW.
  18. The pool smell, according to https://chlorine.americanchemistry.com/Science-Center/Chlorine-Compound-of-the-Month-Library/Chloramines-Understanding-Pool-Smell/ "A whiff of pool water - often described as the smell of chlorine -can stir happy thoughts of summer. If strong enough, however, "pool smell" can signify a source of irritation to the eyes, lungs and skin of swimmers. Pool smell is due, not to chlorine, but to chloramines, chemical compounds that build up in pool water when it is improperly treated. Chloramines result from the combination of two ingredients: (a) chlorine disinfectants and (b) perspiration, oils and urine that enter pools on the bodies of swimmers. Chlorine disinfectants are added to pool water to destroy germs that can give swimmers diarrhea, ear aches and athlete's foot. Perspiration, oils and urine, however, are unwanted additions to pool water. By showering before entering the pool, and washing these substances from the skin, swimmers can help minimize pool smell."

  21. Prodigal Son Killer of a first episode. "Malcolm Bright is a gifted criminal psychologist, using his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes and stop killers, all while dealing with a manipulative mother, a serial killer father still looking to bond with his prodigal son and his own constantly evolving neuroses."
