  1. A cunning linguist...
  2. Lunch
  3. Titans Season 2 starts tonight!
  4. You mistyped 15/10
  5. Meh. It's going to end up like Fantastic Four, where they end up with sticky fluid all over their faces.
  6. Fisherman's Friends (2019) 7/10. Fun little British comedy with heart and some great songs. Based on a true story of ten fishermen from Cornwall whose sea shanties get them noticed.
  7. As I read it, it was more a reminder that her inner demons will always be with her, therefore there's no point running away.

  9. Demolition [2015] 7/10. Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts are excellent and while this isn't my normal cup of tea, the balance of drama and humour made it fascinating to watch.
  10. I'm For The Hippopotamus.
  11. And it was everything I hoped it would be.
  12. This nearly made me laugh out loud. Tom Wilson [biff] shared this photo.
  13. Coming soon.
  14. My sincere condolences to all GOT fans.
  15. That's what made me watch it again! [emoji3][emoji23] I saw Hans Zimmer's Concert in Prague on Netflix and couldn't place the tune until I Shazamed it.
  16. I want the 'Thomas the Tank Engine narrated by George Carlin', but the uncensored one.
  17. No, doesn't seem to be necessary.
  18. True Romance, 1993, 8/10. The advantage of a movie that doesn't rely on special effects is that if you have a good story and a great cast it is still as enjoyable to watch a quarter of a century later. Mind you, I like special effects - but I do like a good story told well, too.
  19. If it makes you happier and improves the quality of your life, is there any reason you shouldn't?
  20. Again, in my layman's opinion, yes. If you want to be a girl and you have the money, you can become a girl in every physical and biological sense, and vice versa (as far as I know).
  21. IMO layman's opinion, it's self-defined.
  22. Tell you a funny story. After my sis had her op, we went to see friends of mine play in a band. As we went to say hello, one of my friends wanted to know who my date was. Mind you, this was a guy who had plenty of interaction with my sis when she was still my brother! It took him a good few minutes to recognise her, while we were just having a silent laugh. There is absolutely no point to this story, except maybe as a reminder that we 'straights' are more frequently the punchline in these stories and discussions than we realise, simply because we have little to no interaction with their communities, while they are part of our communities without us even realising it.
  23. Unhappiness, basically, for a long time, mingled with rage, depression, etc. until thankfully he started seeing a psychologist.
  24. My sister used to be my brother. My parents are fairly conservative. It was a long, at times very difficult process that ended happily and eventually brought us all closer. I have absolutely no interest in joining 'male vs female' arguments, but if anyone has genuine questions about this specific issue I will be happy to answer them.
  25. "Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup."
