Also had a friend who had the same trouble with his Quartz. Eventually had to get a new pair. EggBeater is really the best pedal. Easy to get your foot in and out, gives no trouble and after sales service is superb.

Learning to lace spokes is the easy part. The trueing is the hard part. That R450 is not a bad price for spokes and labour.

Was there this afternoon. Saw lots of animals here on the R21 side, including a Kudu. Didn't see the sables, but trust they are alright. I should mention I didn't go around to onion hill and the switch backs, so don't know the situation there.
