I think it is cheap...to think other races is the same as that and sometimes last you only 2 hrs of fun. This race is very well organized. The reason for the R1800 per team is to make sure they have full teams.

my argument is not about me.....I am talking about a person out there that bought a secondhand bike and just wanna ride for fun and see if he like the sport....to fork out R100 for a 30km-40km ride is CRAZY!!!!! He does not belong to a club, PPA or anything so he must buy a temp lic with that just to ride the race. Frikkin crazy!

yip...they being ripped of....it is just a matter of time when we just gonna have a few races cause it will get too expensive for the normal person to enter everyone. Imagine you are not a member.....you must check the fees there!!!!

I believe in a proper professional bike setup...you pay so much for a bike and spent a lot of time on it...so the amount you spend to go for a proper setup is nothing. If you setup is good then your riding is also more enjoyable.

I never fix a puncture.....just put in a new tube!

one thing I would def do.....when spring racing start, try to ride for an hour or two after every race(take a 15min rest or so after the race)...gives you a good endurance ride

is he a doctor....because those are the only people that has patience!
