  1. No sorry he sold it
  2. Hi Reggie My brother in law built one up a while ago and was trying to sell it. Had it on bike hub a while. I'm not sure if he did sell it, but I've sent him a message saying you're looking for one.
  3. Try some of the UK excess baggage companies. Most of them have a calculator where you input box dimensions and weight and it gives an estimate.
  4. The first pedal you linked to seems like the sort of thing you would use if you rode clipless and occasionally wanted to ride to the shops in your trainers, the platform is pretty small at 80mm x 85mm, not sure what size your feet are, but I wouldn't be able to ride in flat shoes on those. The second pedal has a much larger platform so probably better for flats. My personal view, never having used dual sided pedals, is they're more hassle than they're worth. I foresee great difficulty trying to clip in and having to spin the pedal to find the correct side, I'd rather go for a clipless pedal with a platform. Or just ride flats.
  5. Taking place in Hermanus tomorrow Sunday 10 October. Good luck to all the riders taking part. If you’re in the area come and watch, I was down at the track this morning watching the national cup series and there’s some good racing. Time Table of Events - SA CupSA Champs.pdf
  6. I have a Lyne 27.2 dropper if you're interested. It was used for around 2 years and has been in a box for the last two, pretty sure it works fine. If you're interested I'll get it out and check. I'm at the opposite end of the county to you though, and don't have enough posts to sell to certain members, but I'm happy to take it to a bike shop to be checked out.
  7. It's a Jack Russel, they're clever that way I assume it wasn't designed for dogs. I think if you call it the call is automatically answered so you can talk to the dog and calm it down??? Don't know to much about it you'd have to investigate, just know it's small you can communicate in two directions and it tracks you.
  8. A friend of mine bought a tracker for her dog which is about the size of a garage remote. It uses a micro sim card and has gps tracking, there is an sos button which will make a call to a pre specified number and it can also receive calls from that number. The device uses an app call Aibeile, which can be used on any device that has a sim card, for tracking. The device is a K9 Ultimate Plus tracker which she got from Streetwise Pets, they're based in Balito but have an online shop.
  9. I doubt he was trying to rob him, not at that intersection, it's far to busy. Probably just upset at him jumping the stop
  10. I wonder if you can then request that they use DHL rather than SkyNet, either with a note on the purchase order or via email.
  11. DHL outdid Skynet on all these points so why the change
  12. I was on earlier but can't get on now. Probably everyone live streaming
  13. I have no problem with an unmodified pedal assist e-MTB. As Hairy pointed out above, however, these things can be modified and then become more like a motorcycle which I would definitely have a problem with on the trails. I wouldn't be caught dead on one currently, but in 30 years time when my legs can't get me up the mountain and I still have a craving for riding down one as fast as possible, I would consider one. Or a helicopter.
  14. Like day 1 of the Stanford Tour, except 3 times longer
