I got an sms from Fand @ 5:50 saying everyone pulled out, ride was off. Wasn't too sure last night if I was gona ride - weather was a bit dodge. Was looking forward to meeting you guys. Please let me know if you guys do that loop agian?
Okay - I've been to the site, and there prices are really really good. The groupo I have an eye on is more than R2k cheaper than their competitors... and Hennie gives awesome feedback and is really helpful... I'm impressed!!!
I've also ordered some stuff, should be getting it in the next few days. Will let you guys now what happens... I got tracking numbers, so I know it's on the way...
I remember getting photos a few years back that were stunning... after this Argus I must say that the quality of the photos were rather shocking, I wouldn't even take the photos if you offered them for free. It's a pity the guys from oakpics and actionography aren't mainstream (or it seems that way) coz there picture qualities are awesome. When we were doing the jailbreak tri the guys were in the water with us taking real action photos - not just shooting away hoping to get a good shot...
Hey andydude. there is no required level of fitness needed. the coach is going to help us to get our strokes correct. i haven't had a swim since IronMan and then had a Mtb crash. so far there are 4 of us interested. i'll get details from the coach and jou you guys no what's happening. will be off peak hours - probably sat afternoon. details to follow soon.
If there were people already attending to wannabe, Bos would have just been an onlooker. I don't think he is the type of guy to not care... And me thinks the tjop who caused the fall should have stopped, but he was probably too busy sh!$ing himself, or couldn't care... Let us know what time and where to meet in S/West... I like the sound of "nice and easy"... If we stop in Franshoek, it'll probably be close to 6 hours me thinks. Bos you'll enjoy it - bring your new road bike out for spin... and i think we will go thru Sir Lowry's pass village - so it's just the last part of Sir Lowry's that we are actually on the dangerous part (its up to fundacious which way we go thou - he is the 4passes mission leader)
