  1. Cy.clist (noun) a person who embraces the simple pleasure of balancing on two wheels. Cycling and the culture that accompanies it is more than just a way of life. It’s a form of self-expression – a journey charted through untamed paths where your senses are immersed in the beauty of nature and its surrounds. This sense of freedom is our ethos. Be it the open road, a rocky descent or urban exploration – the notion of escapism and the connection between man, bicycle and nature is what fuels our passion. At the Cyclist Co we strive to create products of immense quality using creative expression and high-end aesthetical merit to bring our vision to life. We love all forms of cycling and our range of products and timeless design integrity embodies the bicycle’s power to unite cultures and creeds. Our designs are inspired by Cape Town, its beauty and its people, and produced in South Africa. In essence the Cyclist Co allows you, dear rider, an affordable outlet to celebrate your style and individualism; to pay homage to the purest form of freedom known to man – the bicycle. As such this is echoed through our range of products. Our stylish and elegant socks are ultra-comfy as is our coffee – the ideal catalyst to kick-start your ride or fuel post-ride bike talk. Our t-shirts are works of art, fabric canvasses that capture various elements of bike culture using beautifully type-set designs and iconography. Then there’s our range of Cycling-inspired art captured on hand-printed high-quality paper celebrating feats achieved by legends of yesteryear – ideal for your bike room. We want to celebrate the excitement, the escape and the freedom that comes with pedalling a bicycle. Our brand transcends all boundaries and celebrates the heritage of cycling culture. 4. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/logo_zps61c72476.jpg Hi guys As many of you know I've been working furiously with a couple of partners to get our new shop open a quickly as possible. Our shop prides itself on having the focus on the repairing and maintenance of bicycles. This can be seen in the open plan nature of the workshop with wheelbuilding happening right on the counter. You can only do this by having one of the best mechanics around, Jason Geldenhuys, a full partner in the business. The shop is located across the road from Fratelli right on the Spruit. The rain has delayed the completion of our walkway but we are taking orders for servicing from today. Tel 011 326 1688 It looked like this yesterday afternoon but will look very different by tomorrow. You will be able to walk directly in from the Fratelli parking side in a couple of days. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141118_163408_zpshtgwru7f.jpg My Pyga getting some love http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141117_093846_zpsqlwxgwcq.jpg It wasn't the wheel http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141117_094235_zpscefdmhee.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141118_085849_zpsbjemjbo2.jpg Someone having an old 5.5 built up http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141117_094224_zpsftd7kxut.jpg http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141117_094303_zpskqx6uwli.jpg Still a little bare... http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/Seanf1art/20141114_164027_zpstdmx7ktv.jpg Just pop in and say howzit. 8. Hi Hubbers Just to let you know that we have just opened a new coffee shop (Ziggies Caffe', named after my late Mom) in Blairgowrie, at the Blairgowrie Plaza Shopping Centre, cnr Conrad & Susman Avenue. Our overall theme is European with a German slant, but unfranchised and owner-managed. We do great coffee from 07:00, breakfasts, salads, burgers (home made!), have a great selection of Artisan breads, cakes and tarts....But most of all I am a Hubber too and as I have agreed to park my wheels for at least two years, you guys will be welcomed with open arms! (Bike stand will be built soon)! Regards Torsten (011)781 3756
