I want to work on/service my own bike, I already have a workshop stand, chain whip, chain breaker and casette socket. I have ordered the socket to loosen the external BB and also the tool for loosening/tightening the Hollowtech crank.

Any other "special" tools I should order? It is a road bike with 6700 Ultegra. Wheel bearings are cartridge type sealed bearings.

I have the Torx socket for loosening the chain rings and I have all the standard allen keys, spanners and sockets I should need. Also, I have 3 different size torque wrenches.

And I have a hammer but unfortunately it is not a 4lb hammer

Maybe you could add cone wrenches for wheel hub service and a pedal wrench. A decent cable cutter is also worth it. A magnet on a telescopic handle and magnetic parts tray are also useful items. Some plastic syringes for grease and copper compound and of course you need a sharpened spoke to "pick" rubbish out of your brake pads and tyres.

Cable cutters

Chain tool

Grease gun and grease

Whatever tools you need to service hubs (some hubs uses a 15 and 17 cone spanner, others use a 19)

Pedal wrench (either a spanner or a long lever 8mm allen)

OK, cable cutter, syringes + sharpenned spoke

I have allen key for pedals

I have chain cutter

I don't think I need cone spanner, my bearings are cartridge type

I have a bastard BB30 setup, it has a Shimano Ultegra 6700 crank. I have ordered the 2 tools as stated above but not sure if I need anything else for the crank? I think they have some kind of adapters in there

Cable cutters start from about R150 but do get a good one. You can not buy sharpened spokes, you need to make one.

I know   - Park Tool should make them though, I bet people would buy them

Looks like it will be a Park Tool cutter

Get a Caliper Vernier for measuring - even just an analog one with depth gauge protrusion out the side, very useful. Not an el-cheapo plastic one please. You can get reasonably priced half decent ones for Adendorff, Digital ones go down to .01 mm otherwise you eyeball the traditional Vernier Gauge ones for .1mm accuracy.

Take a thick syringe needle, blunt it and use it with a syringe to apply oil to hard to reach places. See if you can find a Once disposable syring. The have O -rings and lasts longer. Cut ome old rubber bands to use as rubber bands. I use them before I start lubricating a chain to mark my staring position. Bend a length of old spoke with two hooks on each side. Use it to hold your chain together when refitting a new pin or link. Get some grease guns and use Park Grease. It is so much cleaner. I have another three for Copper Slip, White Molybdenum and Fork Lub. A third hand tool is also handy when setting up brake and derraileur cables.

Torque wrench. If you do not have one you may as well throw the rest of the tools away.

You surely mean in conjunction with?????...... it will be quite difficult to tension a wheel with a torque wrench..... that reminds me Stevie.... you will need a wrench for those nipples!!!!!
