Sawdust Posted March 15, 2011 Share For example with mine I cannot turn the adjustment nuts where the gear cables go into the lever mechanism because they are bumping up against the handle bar.So you need to make sure that everything fits and is in the right position with no interference problems before finalising (cutting the bars ect...). I once made that mistake by shortening a riser bar, only to find the shifters hit the handle bar afterwards. I had to use shorter grips to overcome the issue. Luckily it was el-cheapo bars. LOL, yep I just had to by new bars so I could fit barends on (for the Epic), if the bars were flat or less of a rise I would probably not needed to replace them...$$$$ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
