[personally they obviously know its going to happen and have loosely discouraged it. if people act like total w@nkd035es racing through the backmarkers then they might get stricter. spoils the fun for everyone. - i wonder how many of these okes acting like tjops are doing big miles for a 180km ride in pe soon, they would explain a lot.

I am doing the 180km funride in pe but opted to ride 1 lap only with my wife on the tandem and then did a run straight of the bike.

I don't have any problem with ladies being pushed, particularly as these people are obviously not racing for time, however, I have to ask, why is it that we set different standards for ladies and men? Why does a struggling lady get pushed whilst an overweight man in his 60s, struggling up a hill is just left alone? The Argus cut-off time is not so fast that the average Jill shouldn't be able to finish- maybe these ladies should be given moral support and be allowed the satisfaction of achieving the race entirely on their own steam? Personally, I've always been fairly offended at offers to push me.

My Little rant.

To those guys who wanted to race two laps.

Rave on

[/i]To those riders that did do second laps, riding with their friends and family, chatting, and just being a part of the slow riders. Thank you. Those who had the patience to wait till it was safe to go past and waited, again thank you. And to those fast riders who had words of encouragment, it goes along way. Iroincally the $ group cerevlo rider, who rode with us up Smits and chatted to us, before heading off into the distance on your second lap. Awesome to meet you. Rave over

Remember this part of the post Slowbee?
